I have the ego with 650 and 900mah batteries, but I keep drooling over the cute little pretty 808s from v4l. can you tell me about these? I really want a backup kit and something smaller is fine with me as long as the vapor doesn't suck. lol

I started with V4L kr808s. I didn't start broadening my horizons until I'd been smoke free for 6 months or so. I still have a soft spot for kr8s and I still use them sometimes, but I've only used the manuals. They're 3.7 V, so a bit of a warmer vape than your egos. Shorter battery life, but the XLs last 4-5 hours for me (i think i'm a light to moderate vaper, my 650 Rivas usually last about 18 hours with standard resistance cartos. ) I haven't tried the new autos from V4L, but i suspect MK will be able to provide even more info.

I use the manual XL V4L 808s when Im dressed up fancy and going out.I like them alot.The Wow cartos hit a bit hotter and I like it.
Just know that V4L is a VERY airy draw and makes more of a whistling noise. Flavor seems a bit more intense on them too.
Yay want intense. And i will do manual no auto for this girl!! So how's the vapor on them? Pg Vg an issue? I usually use higher VG.

I use PG with 10% VG at most...so can't help you there. The slight increase in voltage does affect flavor though, but not all flavors the same way. (I know, lotta help i am 
)

the kit im looking at is $70 so I need to make sure I'm serious and gonna be happy. Or if I should just save my money and buy a mod. but mods aren't as PRETTY as these 808s
I dont have to use their flavors do I ? I can just buy blanks and fill them up with my own juice.. like every other carto, yeah?
I still have my V4L 808's. I still use them when I need to be more incognito than my boxmod is. I have the shorties, XL, diamond, and stealth batts and actually like them all. If I don't need a long batt life (short outing) I use the shortie. And vice versa. I think my favs are the diamond and stealth though. Diamond is purdyyyy! LOL.
I think I'm sold on getting a v4L kit. I hope the coupon holds out long enough for me to get my dough together (like uh tomorrow lol). I hope the cartos work as well with my juice in it instead of theirs.

Thats what I started with & like everyone else still use. I just upgraded to a Riva. I have the V4L XL & The PCC from them. It was all I knew when I started vaping & seemed to work well.

I have tried some mods and while I like them I prefer my manual extra long 808's from Called vapor kings) V4L. I loved their flavors too. After almost 2 1/2 years I have settled down to 7 flavors and 5 on a daily basis. (premium Smilin menthol, premium grape, premium Doc Pepper, Wow Peppermint and Wow Razz). The vapor is great except for the razz, so I add some Pure P.G. to boost the vapor.
I have been using V4L as my only vendor for 2 years now. Others have had a few gliches with them, but I have never had a problem except for my own misorders (which they fixed right away). Good customer service, great products and very nice people.
For those with a yen for American made juices, they just started a new line made in the States.
Tip: If you are not getting tons of vapor from your juice (any brand) add P.G. or Glycerin to the bottle..a few drops will do and won't dilute your flavor by a noticable level.

thanks for all your help yall. I really don't NEED this kit at all right now, but I have $ and I want it lol. So gonna try to get the best bang for my buck, get my pretty colors (cartos are colored too woohooooo) and hopefully have a fantastic vaping experience with my vapor kings
I hope you like them.Ill feel bad if you dont.I always recomend them to people who are starting out because I believe they have the best success rate.
The only reason I wouldn't like them if the vapor is crappy compared to the ego. I have heard that's not the case and they are unregulated batteries but they do have a higher voltage than egos. And I've been looking for a higher voltage and the colors are oh so pretty!
