:(Ladies, I BADly need entertaining, and this thread is just the ticket!!! First one I've visited that I had to go thru every single post!! My 80-something mother still subscribes to Vogue magazine in part because we all get together and have fun brousing the ridiculous clothes (3 girls in my family)!

Gotta say, tho, and y'all can laugh allllllll you want -- 40 years ago I would have worn nearly anything posted (NEARly) with the distinct exception of the stuff made of food or contraceptives! I was a "wild child" but even THEN I wouldn't have run around in condoms! .................. I think..........I HOPE?!?!

This is so much a "would you wear this?" question, but a "would you do this?". The other morning on ABC's Good Morning America, they had a story about the latest trend in plastic surgery - ear lobe reduction. For women who ear lobes over the years have gotten stretched out from years of wearing heavy earrings... Not something I would have ever thought about needing.

there are people who use plugs deliberately stretch the holes in their earlobes... the strangest i ever saw was someone with a sharpie marker in the extended hole that is more frequently reserved for earrings...

Funny! I've seen a lot of younger people with discs in their ears - some as large as a nickel - but never anything like a sharpie!

I have seen a guy with a plug as big around as a tennis ball. It looked so gross!!!
