Recently I posted a picture on facebook of some shorts I made out of old tights. The reactions were interesting. The guys didn't seem to have a problem with it. But some of the women did. I really don't understand this.
Why is it viewed that if men wear tights they are somehow gay? Yet if women wear pants they are not lesbians? It feels like the lines are drawn closer for men. They keep shrinking out of fear that guys will be called gay with negative connotation. Why do I feel like this country is giving women more freedom and taking it away from men at the same time?
What do you think? Should guys have more liberty with how they dress? Is society as a whole narrow minded about menswear?
