Awesome!!! Congrats on your midterm test score!! The video about Coursera is very informative, forwarding it to my hubby.

It's always fascinating and exciting to see young talent like the young lady with Steve Vai, and the Cello vid was a good laugh as well as great music :)

Thank you, Bov :)

That Coursera video was intended to be a motivational driver - It was that for me, so it's great to hear that you passed it onwards :)
What else we could do with our lives, than learn about new things? We live and learn, and sometimes we might need a little push towards the right direction, right? :)

Oh, tell me about Steve Vai. He's my all time favorite guitar player (as you know already :) ) He's a god (figure of speech, of course, that)

But...You like Joe Satriani! Hahaa :D I've got something for you :) Well It's not exactly Joe Satriani, but pretty close anyway. Please watch this...

The first song I heard that made me fall in love with Satriani was "Crying" I was working 6/12's night shift at a nuclear power plant, and on my way home at 6:30 one morning this song came on the radio. I literally had to pull over on the side of the road just so I could enjoy it without having to focus on the road! It was 1992 and this song had just been released.

Sleep well my friend...you have earned it this week!!

I kinda miss those times. To be exact, I don't miss being in special forces, going through rough situations all the time, being physically (and mentally) exhausted, but I do miss my friends who were there with me back then...

But life goes on, and that's the way it should be. I've met some of my "brothers in arms" afterwards, and we all are having different jobs and things nowadays. But I guess it's ok anyway :)
