Nice job they did on that case! Would you mind sharing how much? Some other REOnauts have been interested in having one made, and they may want to know.
I love my lanyard for when I need to use my cane, or if I walk for a while and need my hands to steady myself when my leg gets tired and sore (from not using my cane).

Thanks FB. vsummer I'm just trying to gauge if there is enough interest in this and I will send those who want one his way. Right now I having him making 3 more of them and one will have a belt clip on it. When the belt clip is done I'll post pix of it. At this time I can't say a price on them but I will say it will be very reasonable.
Thanks for bringing this back to the top FB. I asked him to make 3 more before Xmas he made them and no one called to say they were done. I stopped by there the other day to check on them to find they were done the fit and finish were horrible I even ordered one with a belt clip it was the best of the 3. None of them had squonk holes in them and he made those while I waited and the belt clip one came back from that with some kind of stain on it (it was a light tan). I asked if he would think about making these to sale and he said he wouldn't have time to do it and had too many other things going on. The first one was nice but after these last three I would not recommend these to anyone. As a matter of fact I'm embarrassed to post pix of the new ones. They're that bad. Sorry I was hoping they would be nice.
Just wanted to share, since this apparently didn't work out, that the REO covers that Karen (nerak) makes work extremely well as a lanyard with the simple use of a cord of choice. I've used mine several times when I fish and it is awesome.

Yeap, I love my cases by Karen. I was looking for a leather one to use just for rough duty. I off-road a lot and the soft and pretty cases of Karen's would be destroyed with mud, grease, and oil in just one trip.
That's too bad. Sorry you got let down like that after looking forward to your new cases.
I kinda didn't like his attitude on the second trip back. Better not to ask friends to try this guy. I've got a few tools and some leather (one is what I call dinosaur hide) I might try to do something.
Raynman you inspired me to try this myself, this is my first attempt next time I may go for veg tanned with some tooling if I can find a suitable pattern. I made this from Kangaroo hide, very tough and durable like my REO.
The last 3 I bought were kinda sad. The first one was quite nice but downhill after that. Maybe it was his way of saying I don't really want to do this. I'd post pix but they are really embarrassing if anyone wants to see them I will post them
I really can't understand why a leatherworker wouldn't want to turn his scrap into cash. I made this from leather I had lying around and it didn't take long to stitch up and I did it by hand. My next one will most likely take longer as I plan to do some tooling hopefully for a Woodville.
Well I can't answer that Walter. Might just be time constraints. I didn't mention it above through my own neglect but yours looks very nice. You did a great job. I hope when I find the time and try one out of the dino hide I have it comes out that nice.
I hope you'll post pics when you get it done, that dinosaur hide must be really hard to come by.
