I have a 900mah eGo and that battery will last longer than 9 hours, believe me. I use it from the time I wake up until I go to bed before I put it on the charger and it still hasn't been vaped dead. My fiance's will last at least a day and half, sometimes longer and he has used it until it ran out of charge.

You'd have to vape on it near constantly in order to run out the charge after 9 hours.

Can that 900mah battery be charged witha regular 510 charger and would it charge overnight? Could you use that 900 battery with the regular 510 attys?

Thank you very much!

LoL Yeah, like I said, I really NEED another... well, really, I do - it's either that or use labels or rubber bands to identify each flavor that's loaded in each one... so far, with 4 650 batts, the steel PT and the 900 mah - and cartos (black only *sniffle*), steel or black attys... I can combine them all so each is different, except I always end up with 2 identical. I need that 3rd color to complete the ... jungle ;o)

PT always has my Red Bull, I mean, Red Energy... 900mah is caramel cream... the rest, are a mystery until I inhale... LoL

More is funner! (egads, did I just say that?)

Sad thing is, I also keep checking their site for Rivas to come back in stock - Xmas is comin' too soon! I can think of 3 right off the bat that are getting those for presents, even if I just have to print a picture of one while I wait for them to get in stock... $29.99 is too good to pass up.

Yes, it would take probably longer than just overnight I would think for the 900mah using a regular 510 charger. The 900 does charge well in a few hours (from dead) using my eGo (usb fast charge) chargers.

okay, well thanks everybody

I think what I'll do for now is just buy a 900mAH battery and use it to augment my two 510 batteries

My two cents: I settled on a eGo USB PT that handles most of the day and a 900mAH eGo (kept ready to go with a eGo fast USB charger) for when I'm on the road. When out with the Mrs. I take one of the standard 510 style batteries because they are so slim, work fine for a couple of hours and she says they look better. Gotta keep the lady happy.

so the 900mAH eGo battery here: FreedomSmokeUSA that's fatter than a regular 510 battery?

I don't really mind if they're fatter than my standard 510 attys and carts/cartos -- just so long as they're not WAY fatter

I guess I don't mind that either really -- just was curious because I couldn't tell they were fatter from the picture... but then without a standard battery to give it scale I guess it was dumb to think that

You know, once you get into vaping you won't give a hoot either way most likely. The "transition" from analogs is the most noticeable as they are basically paper.

When I got my first ecig 3 months ago, (a super mini 4081) I was like hmmm this is heavy - because i was comparing it to what I was used to - paper. Then after 2.5 months with an Ego the 4081 feels light as a feather - but I still rarely use it. Why? The size "felt" important initially, but does not matter any longer. I want a good hit.

This is why some eventually go to mods. They realize that they do not care about size any longer - and only care about the hit. But initially the size thing coming off analogs is somewhat important, in my view - but it wears off.

Yep, the one you linked to is about twice the diameter as a regular 510 battery. The eGo line uses the same atty connection as a 510 so the atty is interchangeable. I've found out that battery life (mAH) and voltage (more of a mod issue) is what a lot of vaping tech is about. The eGo cone here is a nice addition, it's just for looks as it is just a sleeve that tapers from the 510 atty diameter up to the eGo diameter and I suppose it does provide alittle support.

Sean, the standard Ego is 650 mah. The standard 510 is 180 and the Mega 510 I believe is 280 - to give you a reference. The bigger you go with the ego battery the longer they are - they aren't fatter. Well, they are fatter than the 510 but not fatter than the standard ego.

My question, with regard to this, is; Do the atty's for the 510/510 mega work on the eGo, and, is that what the purpose of the cone adapter is for besides the "draw", to taper the battery to the atty?

Yes, the numbers like a 510 refer to threading mostly so the pieces connect. So any 510 with fit an eGO or 510.

There are mega ego atty's/cartos that are too big for a 510 however. I suppose they would connect though - never have really thought about it. If they do fit it would be an odd looking ecig though, lol.

As far as the cone it seems to be mostly cosmetic although I have seen threads on here that say it has a purpose regarding the draw.

Edit: Pah the eGO is essentially a fat battery 510. If you are considering the eGO Liberty Flights will have them for $40 on Friday - after the ECF discount.

Seems I should read all the way through the forum, huh..... But as a side note there is about a 1/4 in size difference between the manual 510 mega and the auto 510 mega, as I found out today. I have a 510 mega pcc for my manual, (which I love!!!) and purchased a white auto mega battery to trip up people at the bar, red led and all, get it in the mail today, drop it in my pcc, close it and no charge light.... pull it out and compared them, about 1/4 in diff. but will still sit in the store side at least for transport.... =)

Not a huge reason to go get an eGO if you have a 510 mega - however, batteries do not last forever. I bought one extra eGO kit as a backup in case of a ban - and may buy another Friday.

An ecig is a battery and atomizer/carto. All the pieces will go poof - at some point. The only question is whether you will order the same exact PV - or a different one. But you will be ordering more - at some point.

Edit: Other option is to get a 510 passthrough and do not use your batteries all the time while at home. Batteries can only be charged so many times... A PCC is nice but doesn't help the fact that the batteries will eventually go poof.
