Super!
Give yourself time, and ween from cigs if need be. I quit smoking right away also, but have "slipped" about a dozen times now. Buying packs here and there.
There is other chemicals in tobacco besides the Nicotine, that "completes" the addiction.
Chances are you will still crave a good old, "dirty" smoke now and then.

I did great the first day, only 7 analogs. Second day 12 ananlogs. Today so far 5 analogs. I don't know what my problem is! I'm putting no pressure on myself though. Gonna take my time switching over. That is the only way I can see succeeding.

Yep, there is no "correct" way to do it. Just do whatever works for you. :)

My wife will take devious pleasure in destroying what analogs I have left. :sneaky:

i keep one in hidden in the glove box of my car as a security blanket. never needed it but it helps just knowing its there. Must be psychological (its there if i need it, so i don't need it because its there). almost 2 months analog free.

Lol....I told a friend of mine that what I'm going to do is get one of those glass boxes that say "In case of emergency break glass" and stick a pack of cigs and a lighter in there. This way I can have my security blanket yet make sure I have to work just a little to get to it :)

Yes, you will. But here's the thing...if you don't smoke an analog for a month, you will realize that the craving for an analog is just your mind saying "Get and relax for a bit", not "YOU NEED A CIGARETTE!".

If you can wean yourself off analogs and get to be vaping only, the cravings will come and go. However, stop and look at the situation...why is the craving there? Is it the situation? Would you normally go outside and smoke? If so, go to the restroom and vape or go outside and vape. You will find the addiction is still there...but is the addiction really to smoke or get away? Think about it when you have a craving.

You're not just addicted to nicotine and all the chemicals in cigarettes...you're also addicted to society to tell you to "go away" when you're feeling stressed. The habit of getting away has just as easily been etched into your brain as needing a cigarette or drinking coffee. So, remember that. Do you really need a smoke or do you need to get away when the cravings hit?

My hopes and excitment have been crushed so many times in the past trying this quit smoking thing, program...Think all smokers get to a point after trying several things to quit and just accept their fate to smoke, life is too short so if your going to smoke at least be a happy smoker right..... So when I got my PV I just didn't care (great if it works, oh well if it doesn't)

First couple of draw's a light bulb went on and I thought wow, this could work,, and it did and didn't pick up an analog while I had my ecig.. I will always say make it a good experience go with the flow in how your feeling and leave the miserable guilt feelings out of your head...For me passing up one opportunity to smoke an analog and not being overwhelmed with panic was a WOW couldn't do that before..

Congrats on your e cig arriving today !!!! I say go for it...
