Congrats Over_Stimulation,

Its been a week today for me without an analog. and for some reason today has been tough, so I have vaped up a storm today! My husband mentioned I vaped more today driving then I use to smoke, but smoking i was trying to be considerate of him since he has never smoked..

Its funny, today we were at a Dr appt for hubby and I cant believe the people I could smell cigarette smoke on..

Keep it up, the forum has done me good reading everyones posts..

Congrats! I started vaping a little over 6 months ago because my best friend sent me a starter kit and encourage me to try it. I smoke 1 analog the day I started and 1 more the day after. A month later, I bumped 1 from a co-worker because my battery die and I don't have the charger with me. After 2 puffs of the analog, I put it out and haven't had one since. It's great! I gave my cousin a similar starter kit 2 weeks ago and that was all he used the first week when I was with him in CA and I heard he's still doing well with it also. So keep it up!!!

A relative of mine did the same thing with V2s. I suggested them to him and he loved them. I felt proud of him when he told me that he had skipped his habitual "morning smoke" for the first time in something like 15 years, cause he rather wanted to have a puff on his e-cig. Another friend of mine who vapes a lot keeps a pack of cigs for whenever he feels like a smoke, but last time I was there, he said the pack of cigs hadn't been touched for a long time, cause he didn't see any attraction to them. I think that's the true power of e-cigs - they just tastes better and are more pleasing. Everyone I've talked to have come to the same conclusion: There's simply more satisfaction in a good vape.

It's been the same for me and my tobacco pipes. I used to love smoking a pipe now and then, but I never pack myself a bowl anymore. I don't see the point, cause vaping gives me so much more variation and satisfaction. In my eyes, that's the biggest selling point for e-cigs - perhaps even more so than the greater ease of getting off a baccy habit. For someone who never tried or weren't able to quit their baccy habit, e-cigs will naturally teach them how and why they should!

So in that sense I can understand what you mean. I never smoked cigarettes though, so I can't imagine how amazing that must feel to be able to quit them, but I know e-cigs are absolutely fantastic and renders tobacco pointless. It's great that you made the choice!

Cheers!

Two tips that've helped me (and I hope they might be helpful to you) are: when I have the urge to smoke an analog, I vape! also, keep track of your e-liquids and stagger your orders/time them so that you're never out of your supplies. Best of luck to you! There's a ton of great info on ECF & loads of wonderful folks to keep you company in your journey, so hang in there!

It is - but great stuff u are doing it!! Go with it. Vape on. Nobody is going to tell you 'It is bad for you' or 'Phew that smoke stinks" cos they don't know what u are doing and they know nothing about it anyway!! I luv it - no excessive gov. taxes, no lectures, no smell, and best of all nicotine hit without all the garbage to get it!! Cheers - go for it!!

Hey I think we gave up the analog on the same day! Am into my third day analog free as well. Feeling more lively and everything just tastes so good :p but the work week is starting and I'm afraid that I might have to have about 2 stinkies at work a day. Vaping is illegal where I'm from, and I haven't had any luck finding a secluded enough spot to vape at work. If only vaping was more widely accepted, I'd give up the analog in a heartbeat. The irony!
