Last night the cord part of my 510 charger exploded. The wire had frayed.

Can I get the cord without having to buy a charger piece? I would like to be able to use a regular store not an e-cig supplier as I am currently broke beyond broke and cannot use my credit card.

Could I get something like this at a Radio Shack or similar?

OR! If you live in NYC I would gladly buy it off of you.

I kind of have no idea what to do at the moment. I have no spare charger.

What cord do you mean? Is it a wall plug to USB? If it's a USB wall charging unit not the e cig charger itself you can get them at a lot of stores. If it's the charger cord built into the unit if you're handy you could maybe cut up an inexpensive USB cord and replace it..best way would be soldering it internally. But you have to know what you're doing..generally the red wire is positive and black negative with a lot of electronics but I haven't cut open a USB cord to see and it could be different colors.

If you don't know what you're doing and you need the charger your best bet is to look for e cig suppliers in your area. I know you are broke but better spending a few dollars than messing things up.

You could try the Pay It Forward - PIF board on this forum maybe someone there will help you..read the rules at the top of that forum or maybe someone else will come along and offer to send you one. You should post exactly what cord/charger you need for what e cig to make sure you get the correct one..good luck
