Tonight, I (hopefully) bought my last pack of cigarettes!
On Monday I should receive my eGo Passthrough starter kit from Rawrvapor.com as well as some juice from them. I decided to go with Earl Grey .... (I love a good earl grey tea, even though I mostly drink coffee any more) and Pumpkin Spiced Cappuccino for the two 5ml bottles that come with the sample, and 10ml of their J55 for when I want that tobacco flavor.
After I see how the eGo Passthrough treats me, I'll probably grab a kGo battery (or two) for when I'll be out of the house / car for long periods of time (USB standard charging is the best thing to come to the portable world). And I've been looking into tanks as well. I know I'm going strong into this, but that's generally what I do. I'll decide I was to do / try something, do A LOT of research online, then skip the beginner phase, and try to go right to intermediate.
I'm not a heavy smoker currently, at 5 to 10 cigarettes a day, but I really do enjoy the act of smoking, as well as the social aspect of it. I've been wanting to quit for about a year now and a friend of mine re-reminded me about electronic cigarettes.
I started by trying a NJOY "light" disposable, and it was terrible. Then I realized I was vaping it all wrong. I was doing the classical noob mistake of, "Oh, no vaper? HIT IT HARDER!" The I looked up some youtube videos and learned how to properly vape. The NJOY was still a peice of ..... My buddy who has been smoking disposable for a few weeks now (he also isn't a huge smoker, 5-10 a day, so he gets a few days out of one) said that what he learned was that the NJOY was probably the worst of the gas station disposables. He also said that Blu was probably the best.
So, I tried one of those. Amazing! I kind of liked the nutty coffee flavor of the tobacco juice. And now I'm reading that these things are .... compared to what I'm getting! I'm excited!!
This is turning into a HUGE first post...
As far as me, I'm a "tinkerer." When I was younger (I guess I'm not that old now at 26) I was real into computer modding. Then I got a car, threw a computer in the glove box, molded a touch screen into the dash and everyone was shocked when I had a working, full color, touchscreen GPS / music and video player in 2004.
Now I'm excited for something new to tinker with. I'm sure I'll make plenty of posts asking about parts for simple mods and the like!
Thanks for reading my (long) introduction post!
