I have a stainless LT (the really heavy one) and have dropped several times without problems.
The last time, I had a Vision Stone tank and a stainless drip tip mounted and it fell about 3 feet tip first like a spear. Took a chip out of the floor tiles (slate) and a scratch or two on the tip. The battery moved within the tube and against the post so hard that the nipple of the battery was pressed into sort of concave top.
The top of my LT has not moved a fraction of a degree since I got it.

BTW, yeah, I tossed that damaged battery. They are cheap so why risk it...

Agreed about the Stainless or LT V1.5 as PBusardo calls it. When I brought my first friend over from the dark side that's what he go one week later - same supplier. Maybe I a legit .....

All this stupid model naming is really beginning to GRIND MY GEARS! So is the Chrome Lavatube with the whole new design the 2.0 from L-Rider, or is this one from Volcano the new 2.0 from L-Rider? If it's the one from Volcano, the who the hell makes the Chome redesigned one? WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?!?!

And yes, Project, I will reiterate what others have said. The LT is not the shining model of quality control or top notch parts. It's a pretty cheaply made device but as long as it functions, that's what matters. If the connection being off center isn't affecting the functionality of the device I wouldn't worry about it (if it were me). If it's really getting to you so much that you need it fixed, then I would contact whatever vendor you got it from and see what your recourse is, if any. Depending on which vendor you got it from, you could have a very easy or very hard road ahead of you. Alternatively, you can probably re-seat it yourself if you're at all handy. Good luck :)

the 2.0 is not made by l-rider chelly its made by some one else , the chrom lt with the nice end is the 1.5 because it has the ego conector instead of just 510 i believe , the 2.0 is completely different and not made by the same people , u think theyd just call it something new instead of lava tube seeing as the complete design and the maker has changed ,

I have a stainless steel LT and the whole top has now come loose enough that when it goes "cockeyed" if I wanted to ( and have tried it once to see ) if I snap it back and up I can take the whole top off.

HOWEVER, it started doing this because of ME. I forgot I had it in my back pocket coming from the smoking area, got side tracked working on something, and when I sat down, the cartomizer and top was pushed that way because of me sitting in my chair :)

I am just going to grab some locktite or gorilla glue and fix what I did.

It seems as though this is just the 510 connector.

I'm sure we are all aware that the LT is a cheaply made device. If you didn't know that...you do know.

Both the plastic top and bottom caps are press fit in place with the addition of glue. Also, the center 510 connection is press fit into the platic top cap.

Problem: My top caps came off.

Solution: Apply some some glue and press them back on.

Problem: My center connection is loose.

Solution: Use a ledge, your desk, or whatever and apply pressure to the connection to push it back into place. It should center itself. If it's still loose then apply some glue.

Thanks for the "adults only" picture. Sounds like you get into fist-a-cuffs with your LT in tow. Regardless your experience with these devices is appreciated.

And another thing, getting a Zenesis isn't so hard as much as it is an exercise in patience. Get on the list and about a month or so later, you'll likely be able to get yours. :)

On the list and have my tube of SUper Glue handy and hoping I do not have a catastrophic failure between then and now.

Is that real and if it is then why/how did Pchela get a custom made one?

And actually Wood the 1.5 is the one not made by L-Ride (made by Yung June Tech), it has the ohm reader and battery indicator (I own one). Apparenlty this 2.0 by Volcano is also not made by L-Rider. But I'm pretty sure that the chrome one with the tapered end caps is made by L-Rider. GOD WHO THE HELL KNOWS ANYMORE??!?! LOL

Amazing I came in in June assuming there was a "steady state" in the vaping technology but have been just amazed how it changes by the day. I just read about "Pulse Width Modulation" wow.......

Pssst who are the Men in Black on the ECF they must be the ... owners? Are we going to get that flashy memory thingy?

Where am I?
