I need some help I am getting a new lava tube body only so what typ of batt. are the best for it ? There a wide range
that you can get for it out there.

AW IMR 18650 ... here's what is recommended. They are safe chemistry batteries and work great in the LT.

The Panasonic CGR18650CH-2250 mah HIGH DRAINS out performs the AW IMR 18650 HIGH DRAINS and they are SAFE CHEMISTRY TESTED batteries! The differernce between the two are their battery cells! Panasonic uses BETTER QUALITY of cells than the AW IMR's!

So what would be the benefit of going over the manufacturers heads to find something "better" than they recommend? It sure isn't going to change the quality of the vape. It might give you 30 minutes extra vape time but imo that is not worth going against what the manufactures recommends. Improper matching of batteries can be life threateningly dangerous. I understand that is not necessarily the case here but suggesting a battery other than what the manufacturer recommends only encourages people to try to find "better" batteries. The next thing you know they are heading down to radio shack for batteries for their PVs and their mod explodes and blows their head off.
