One of the things I've learned is to read and research before buying and to gradually build things up. I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to advanced setups like the Lava Tube and although it's a nice mod I personally think you should have taken more time to research other products and sort of felt your way along. My reason for saying this is that another member may have a Lava Tube and like one setting and recommend it to you but when you try it, it's not to your liking. Start off small.

Welcome to the forums and grats on the lave tube. The great thing about the lave tubes is they work 3 to 6 volts, so resistance isn't as big an issue. Lower resistance will work with less voltage, but you should be able to get a really nice vape with anything from 1.5 to 3 Ohms (you could even go higher, but you will be working with less wattage the higher you go). The other thing that is really nice is you can use variable wattage and have different resistance coils on different tanks without accidently burning your wicks. I tend to prefer lower resistance as the coils heat up a little bit faster, but with VV/VW, your resistance isn't nearly as important as it is if you just use a standard ego battery. Happy vaping

A good little kit is the LT :)

It is horses for courses really, the lower the resi the more steam you got I think the way it works unless you have a higher resi and pump in more voltie goodness but that of course will drain your battery quicker too.

I'm running a U wick on my Steam Turbine at 1.4ohm and its sweet spot is about 3.8-3.9 volts on my Kmax, lots o' steam and huge flavour and hit, I would run my 1.8ohm RG500 on the device about 3.9-4.1v and again lots of cloud but less flavour mainly because of the design difference between a BCC and a Genesis type. Juice is also a factor and juice can behave in one atty so differently to another due to its setup of PG/VG ratios, I found a mostly PG ratio works better in my BCC's and my VG heavy juices are nicer in the rebuildables but I imagine the next man along has a totally different experience to mine due to differences in tastes etc :)
