I just got my Lavatube in the mail today and put the battery to charge a few hours ago and the charger still indicates a red light. I wanted to know if the size of that battery just takes a long time or something is wrong with the battery I got. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone knows if Battery Town sells 18650 batteries, capable of fitting into the Lavatube?

If the battery was fully dead it could take 4-5 hours to charge - you need to divide the battery's mAh rating by the charger's output mAh rating to give a rough idea of charge time.
Thanks, good to know cuz that was a concern of mine being that i have so many AW 18650 IMR batts for my Provaris... I don't want to buy a whole bunch of new 18650s for the lava tube if i decide to purchase it
I have 6 different kinds of 18650 batteries (AW IMR, AW Li-ion, Provape's Provari Li-ion, standard flat-top generic IMRs, trust fire flames, and ultra fires) and they all fit into the lava tube. Some of the longer 18650 batteries are too long to allow for the end-cap to screw all the way down, but the device still fires and seems to work just fine. Both my flat-top and nipple top 18650s work in the Lavatube I bought from Volcano.
