lavatube top detached

Hello All

I am very new to vaping and I got a lavatube from my buddy the other day. Today the top came off and the red and black wired are detached from the top piece. They are still attached to the inside. To top it off I live in Thailand and can't really send it to the manufacturer to repair. I was hoping that someone could post a picture of a lavatube with the top disconnected and the wired still attached so I can see how to solder the wires.

Please help...it's my only piece of hardware and I don't want to have to smoke another cigarette.

While it might not be very convenient to send it back to the manufacturer, I know that Volcano is great with repairs and replacements. The same thing happened to my boyfriend's lavatube, so he mailed it to them for repair and received a brand new device less than a week later. Granted, we live in the states, but it might be worth looking into if you have a battery to use while that one is being shipped.

Do not try and strip the wire before you solder the connector; instead use a lighter or something because it is very easy to pull a wire from the board and would require some hard work to get to the board.

That's a great tip. I did strip the wire myself and luckily didn't have any problems. Living in Bangkok I went to the mobile repair shop and had them solder it for me and they didn't even charge me. Love Thailand! I brought it home and superglued the top onto the tube and it's been working like a charm ever since. Thanks to all the help!
