erm.. i'm a consumer but i did a review of it based solely on my own opinion. review here
From my point of view, a simple way to put it is...
Got $$ provari.
Not enuff $$ lavatube.
Better looking, Provari.
Lesser hassle, lavatube.

i dont have a lavatube . but i will tell you my provari is a monster of a good pv.

Read a lot before starting to vape. Got a provari on the second day of my vaping life. Been using it for 2 weeks now and I love it. 5 drops of my favorite juice on a 901 atty at 4.6v = HEAVEN!

Basically it comes down to this:

Got $150? Get a Provari.

Don't? Get a Lavatube.

Are you looking to choose between buying one or the other?

I have both, along with a couple other vv mods, so will give you my thoughts.

Bottom line, they both vape about the same.

The biggest differences between the two are price and build quality.

The lavatube is about one third the price of a provari when all is said and done. The lava tube works, and seems to be made well enough to last. And, it comes with the same one year standard warranty as the provari. So either way, you have fantastic vaping for a year.

My provari cost me about three times as much as my lava tube. But the moment I took my provari out of the box and picked it up, I fell in love. The heft. The feel. The fit and function. It's a superbly crafted device. A pleasure just to hold and use.

Like I said, I really like both mods. Each have their own place in my vaping, I don't regret buying either, would buy both again, and am seriously considering ordering seconds, thrids, etc. of both
