Leak at Cart/atty seam?

Both of my Joye 510's seem to leak at the cart/atty seam. Whenever I pull them out of my pocket, there is a line of juice wrapping around the ecig. Is this normal, or is there some sort of technique or mod to fix this?

I thought it was possible that I was overfilling them, but I really only get half a day of use before I need to refill. I tend to fill the cart until the top of the foam appears wet.

This is more likely to happen if you overfill.
You don't want the top of the filler to look wet, more like a slushy.

Also, it is more likely to happen if you loose fitting cartridge.
I have had tight ones and loose ones, so they vary a bit.

Also, it is can be more likely to happen if you are using your own filler.
Depending on the material used, and how loose or tight it is, it may not hold in the juice well.

Also, I think it is a little more likely if you let it sit horizontally for awhile.

I had that some too. Was using the PTB mod and setting the ego down on the battery end or on its side. I tried the BFD mod and about the same time starting putting the e-cig down with the mouth piece down if it was going to be a while before I used it and so not that has not happened. Not sure which made the difference or just getting better at filling carts after a month
