search came up negative so i thought i would post it. i originally just eyeballed the sections of blue foam that fit lenthways all the way in the cart and it works amazing compared to the original filler. my question is, ive heard there are specific dimensions that people are using that work really good does anyone know what they are? im playing around with slightly fatter pieces now because my carts dont seem to last very long and one of them leaks so im thinking the foam pieces were too skinny and letting juice leak out the side.

also ive noticed small melted plastic on the very top of my carts on the oval shaped part that the atty rests in. im assuming its hitting the atty and the heat is melting it. which direction is the correct way to slide the cart onto the atty? when looking at the atty i can see an white piece underneath on the flat part that has the same oval shape as the top of my carts. should i line it up with this? or go 90 degrees the other way? most of my carts have small melted lips so its hard for me to test anymore.

thanks

You just have to experiment until you find the right thickness/density. This will vary depending on the "viscosity" I guess is the word, of your E-juice. The thicker the juice, the less density you need. And vice versa. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 5/16 to 3/8 inch should be a good starting point.

If you line up your cart with that white oval in the bottom of the atomizer, it will dramatically reduce or even eliminate the problem with the melted, chewed up look on the bottom end of the cartridge.

Yes, line up with the oval you can see down in your atty. (It will be opposite the bridge of the atty.) In other words, it will form a "T" shape with the bridge. Should help. And the blue foam....it's not an exact science. We all just pretty much experiment. I try to make mine the same size as the cart...so that there's no room on either side. Or....sometimes I cut a piece that's not as long as the cart....and I sorta use it as a "plug" on the top. When I make a plug....I cut the foam about twice as big as the top of the cart. Then I squeeze it together with tweezers and put it in. When it expands, it plugs up the cart. Also....some juices are thicker than others. If I have a really thin, runny juice, I put blue foam all the way down....just exactly the size of the cart. But if I have a thicker liquid (usually more VG in it), I use my "plug." Really.....just experiment. You'll start getting a "feel" for it. That may not be that helpful, but it'll happen. My plugs are almost little squares.....that are about twice as wide as a cart and half as long.
