I have IGO-L and Smoktech RSST. Both leak. I understand this is a known design flaw.

I want to reduce this: "Oh god, you smell like cotton candy.. where did you get that?".weird I get comments like that now but not a peep when I stank of smoke! So I just ordered, IGO-W, V5, and Trident. Even if the trident's adjustable airflows pan out, I would like to completely leak-proof my other drippers so that my hands won't smell like juice.

So far I've tried using more cotton or silica with moderate success. Saw another poster recommend wide rubberbands for the airholes. I'll try that.

Any recommendations before I end up buying the gamut?

Hi. There is going to be varying amounts of leakage due to a number of factors. I don't think that you are going to eliminate them altogether. When you are dripping, try dripping less. The RSST's leakage comes from things like build or not cleaning regularly. I tend to clean mine every tank. Usually replacing the wick anyway. Hope this helps.

i use a smoktech octopus mini. it holds about 8 drops and you get about 5 decent hits. im using 4 strands of 1 mm silica and a 3/4 wrap of .32 twisted kanthal. i add some drops and hit it about 5 times. i repeat this until im satisfied. and when im done i vape it dryish and its safe to put down with out worry of it leaking. if you add to much liquid it may come up the drip tip and into your mouth. so i always error on the side of caution. something you should know about the smoktech octopus mini is that the air flow hole is really small out of the box and needs to be drilled out i use 1/16 bit and it works great! its soft aluminium and takes about 3 seconds to slowly run a drill though the stock hole.

For leaking tank type devices, I normally perform the Dental floss MOD. Slide the O-ring out of the groove, wrap 1-2 wraps of non-flavored dental floss in the groove, slide the o-ring back in the groove with the dental floss still in place. THis is a quick, cheap, and easy way to help with leaking.
So far I've done this on my Smok Octopus, and my Vivi Nova.

i have not had this problem with my regular size or my mini i purchased both in the last 3 months. i think they got wind of what was going on. on mine talking off the housing does take a decent amount of effort and i have had no leaking around the o-rings.

I mostly use an A7 (Pegasus) RDA, but understand that it is NOT a sub ohm atomizer. The air flow is from the bottom like a conventional atomizer, so there is no side hole to leak. It's very easy to set up to vape just like my normal 510 type atty of choice. It will only leak if I over fill it.

TJ, thank you for your recommendation. Why is the A7 not for subohm? I'm doing 1.4-1.8ohm microcoils and am happy with the results. I'm already choking on 6ml nic (from 12ml on protank + ego).
