So today i was refilling soem carts using the plunger method. 15 drips in the cap. I plunged and absolutely nothing came bubbling out of the top of the cart but when i put the cart down there was massive juice leakage all over my tissue. I plunge using the mouthpiece end then stand my cart up on the battery end. I sometimes get a little drainage but never seemingly the entire refill. Does this mean the cart is just about finished?

There are a few juices out there that will 'caramelize' over time and clog up your filler material. This doesn't allow the material to soak up much fresh juice. Most people throw away cartos after reaching this stage, but you can do like I do. Soak the carto in warm water over night and it will soften up the gunk buildup, and then flush it with hot water to remove the loose gunk.

Hope this helps. (I've not had juice from V4L do this, only other suppliers)

Agree with Darri.

After prolonged use the filler either gets "gunked up" or compacted. Clean them as Darri described. After they dry, stick a toothpick in between the wall of the carto and the batting and gently try to fluff it up to create more air pockets to hold juice.

If that doesn't work, it may be time to retire that one.
