1.How can You Tell when the Cart Needs to be Refilled?

2.V4L Nobacco Liquid juice

1 bottle is 20 ml almost 1 oz.
If you refill 1 cart with 15-20 drops, how many carts can you refill from 1 bottle?

3.How many times should you refill a cart before you trash it and buy a new one?

I’ve heard 1 person say the most you should refill a cart is 3x.
Another person said they refill their carts as much as 15x.

4. Cart Refill Methods. I've seen 2 Youtube videos about how to refill a cart. One does it from the mouthpiece - pulling it off first with a tool. This is a little complicated for me. In the second video - you drop the 15-20 drops of liquid in the open battery end of the cart slowly - then put the plastic cap over it and stand the cart up with the battery end down for a few hours, to make sure the wick gets soaked properly.

Which method do you recommend?

5. A couple of videos have talked about juice either coming thru the mouthpiece into your mouth or juice dripping down into the battery. What causes this and how do you avoid it?

Thanks for your help, I'm new at at this.

1.How can You Tell when the Cart Needs to be Refilled?you start to see a loss in vapor or get sort of a burnt taste, you should most likely see the downgrade in vapor production first

2.V4L Nobacco Liquid Juice

If you refill 1 cart with 15-20 drops, how many carts can you refill from 1 bottle? It is said that 15-20 drops is aproximately 1ml so you should get 20 refills with that scenario

note: 1ml = 1g in weight as a rule of thumb so if you weigh prior and after refilling or filling you can get an exact amount.

It all depends on the operator care of the cartomizer and each carto can be different as well but you can get one to last long if you keep the carto wet

Taking the mouth piece and stopper off is the best way in many peoples opinion... after you take it off once you don't have to put it back together soo tight.. and the next time it will be easier.

5. A couple of videos have talked about juice either coming thru the mouthpiece into your mouth or juice dripping down into the battery. What causes this and how do you avoid it? overfilling is a major cause especially going out the battery end. mouth you may just have residue from a refill.

avoiding it is to one try not to overfill ,
two.. blow a little through the mouth piece end into a paper towel to get some of the juice out. I am sure others will have their tips

well you could use a paper clip and bend it to look like what you saw in the video... you stick it in the mouth piece hole and gently pry/pull up rotating the cart reach time... slow and easy it should pop out then the rubber gasket if you haven't pulled it out at the same time comes out easily (note how it comes out that is how you want to put it back itn)

when you put the mouth piece back in push it in but leave just a little up so the next time you can use your thumbnail

EDIT: I think PawPaw has a pic of the paper clip tool

Actually, its RyGuy's picture. I stole it! ;)

After you get the handle off the paper clamp, just straighten out the middle some.

I use a thick paperclip with a 90 degree bend at the end, works a charm.
The thing is, when you hear 'gently' or 'easily' it can be hard to relate to if you've not done it before.
Basically, the white cap is wedged in pretty damn tight. So you will need to use a decent amount of pressure/pull to get it out.
And the pressure needed to break it is just a little more than is required to pop it out.
This means you may break one or two when you start on it.
I find that, using any sort of tool with a little 90 degree angled tip, you want to insert it (and don't insert it too far, I once managed to hook it on the atty, that wasn't good) - make sure it's in just under the white plastic.
Then tug straight out, not at an angle. rotate, and tug again, and keep rotating, and tugging, with increased 'pull' till it pops out.
When it pops out, get a flashlight and crawl around on the carpet looking for where it flew off to. (This is optional, you may find the cap stays on the implement you used to pop it out - practice makes perfect)
Then you can use the same tool to easily scoop out the clear plastic inner plug - make sure you have some absorbent paper to put this on, odds are it'll be slick with juice.
The rest you should be able to pick up from the videos.

Oh, I almost always get juice on my fingers. I've heard some say it's a bad thing, but when I'm done with refills I wash my hands (well, just run them under the tap really, no soap) and never had any problems. I've tried to keep my fingers dry (use the tool to move the bits around, and replace them) but that usually just ended in me dropping something - see the flashlight and crawling note above.
