I first want to say that I love V4L. Great company, love the products overall, however I do have one small issue.

Some of the cartamizers I recieved in my last shipment were leaking. I bout a five pack of Vanilla, Coffee, and Wowboy, and 2 Vannillas, 1 Coffee, and 3 Wowboys were leaking. 1 Vanilla literally had 5 or 6 drops come out, after I got a mouth full of it, the other vanilla wasn't so bad. The 1 Coffee and 3 Wowboys were very slight leaks, maybe a drop at the most, and into the condem.

Now understand that I am not mad about this, the price was so good compared to what I was spending at Green Nicotine 1 in 10 could burst into flames and I would be pleased, but I wanted to know if this is normal and sometimes happens, or if I got an off shipment.

Gee Creniker that's not right. I got vanilla, coffee, Wowboy and lots more recently and they aren't leaking. The only time they leak is when I'm refilling and have over-vaped them (let them get too dry and burnt the cartos). Are you refilling? I wouldn't put any leaking carto on an automatic battery since it will ruin it, but the manual batteries & PT are sealed.

I'm not sure if leaking is the correct descriptor as opposed to being over-filled which is extremely rare. You may want to notify C.S. just as an F.Y.I. over this extraordinary incident. Oddly enough it's the opposite that I have read about, cartomizers that are shipped dry and burn up within a couple of drags.

I'll bet they vaped great once the excess was gone!

So a little update here. I had read that you can adjust the contact point on the cartamizer, if the cartamizer wasn't working. So I had gotten a espresso cartamizer thrown in with my order, which I was excited about, but it did not work. So I proceeded to adjust the connector. IT WORKED! But unfortunately it sprayed more juice in my mouth then the vanilla one did. So I popped it open blew out the excess juice (there was A LOT of it), and cleaned it up. Tried again. It sounded like it was working but no vapor came out. Tried once more, and what do you know, mouthful of juice. So ummmmm.... Whats up with that?

Creniker I gotta tell ya this is just the craziest thing I have ever heard of. Do you know what a taryn spin is, and do you have a lanyard or something to do it with? If not I have a video showing how easy it is to make a lanyard for spinning.

The only thing I can imagine is that these carts have been stored upside down and all the juice is resting on the mouthpiece end. So that being said, make sure that the Cartos are standing upright in the box and store the box so any juice drains down toward the battery connection end.

Then, if you take one out I would give it a taryn spin.

Anyways let me know about the lanyard.....we'll get this to work right for you one way or another!

I did see an interesting tip for a spinner that worked out for me. Possibly on this board some place, possibly on another.

Step 1. You take a condom and cut off the end so that you have both ends open.
Step 2. You pass a flat shoelace through the condom.
Step 3. You place the laced condom onto the battery end. It will fit very tight, but that's the idea.
Step 4. You place a normal condom(one without the bung plug) about 3/4 of the way on the mouth end of the carto.
Step 5. Spin away.

It works pretty darn well, but it can be a pita getting that laced condom on and off.(go ahead with the jokes on that one)

Next time when you get a leaky carto or some juice in the mouth, blow into the white mouth end (into a tissue) that will clear any juice in the little tube inside. make sure you store your cartos with batt attached laying down if you are using an auto. Also when dealing with over full cartos..lay the batt with carto attached on something like glass plate coaster..so any leakage won't get on your table. The best way to store overnight is to take the carto off the batt with an auto.

If an entire box of Cartos are bone dry and burn up they will replace that. In this case it just sounds like that sat in the box upside down and the juice simply settled on the mouth piece end. The one defining quality of V4L is that they care more about repeat business then they do making a quick buck off their clients.

Again, this sounds like the Cartomizers were stored upside down, however, there is no markings on the boxes to instruct that they be stored one way or another so.............I guess that's your call.

My first couple of months I used prefilled Cartomizes and never had this experience. If anything there were times I felt that the some Cartos were too dry and didn't last as long as the majority of other ones.

I think the best thing IMHO, try storing the cartos battery end down for a day and see if the problem persists.

Back to the Taryn Spin and making a Lanyard.....it this something you know about? If not watch this.....

YouTube - Vapor4life Tips, Tricks & Fixes for Cartomizers (Taryn Spin & Lanyard at the 9:37 mark)

Keep in mind the video is showing how to empty a cartomizer. You want to do the opposite and compress the juice to the bottom of the cartomizer and avoid any getting into your mouth. To accomplish this to do the following:

Place the small plug that may have come with your cartomizer (if you don't have one that o.k., just use a condom) and insert into the battery hole, then place the rubber end cap (condom) over that.

Place the mouthpiece end of the cartomizer into the lanyard and spin. Centrifugal force will push all the juice to bottom end of the cartomizer.

Any questions let me know, like so many of the great folks here I am always more than happy to help.
