Leaking eGo-c

Good Morning everyone, new to this , so forgive me if i ask some ridiculous questions. My wife Bought an eGo-c for my birthday as i had seen a friend use one and thought it was time to try an alternative and eventually try to stop smoking. So as you can imagine i was over the moon and could not wait to get started. Since then i have had a nightmare. I am a pretty smart guy, putting these things together isn't hard, but both my eGo-c's keep leaking, and when i say leaking i mean alot. i have changed the atomisers bases, atomisers, cartidges , i have cleaned , cleaned and cleaned again, but no !! it still leaks. The battery can be fully charged, liquid filled to the correct level (leaving an air bubble) , new atomiser and atomiser base, i can be sat having a pint and after a ten minute usage period, my eGo-c leaks unbelievably.!! HELP i just want it to work. Is it me? or do i just have a faulty battery set or am i being thick!! Please see attached photo.

I haven't used an ego-c before, but I looked at a website and I see they uses those plastic tanks. I've tried some of those plastic tanks on my regular ego and had the same problem. I would suggest you go with either a cartomizer or a clearomizer. I'll be giving this post a bump by posting, so maybe someone else who's used the ego-c will see it also, and have other suggestions.

I use the eGo-C with zero leaking problems. Here are some tips -

1. The #1 cause of leaking with the eGo tank systems (T or C) is dragging too hard because the strong suction created by hard drags pulls more juice through the wick than the coil can atomize, thereby leading to eventual leaking. Most smokers use fast, hard drags but the eGo tanks require a slow, soft drag. Not only will slow, soft dragging cure most leaking problems, as with most any vaping system (cartos, tanks, etc.) it will also give you more vapor production, flavor, and throat hit.

2. Make sure that the tank is fully inserted. Feel across the joint where the little shoulder on the tank and the top of the cone meet with your fingernail and make sure there is no gap there. Usually there is a noticeable click-like feel and sound when the tank is fully seated but I've had a few tanks that required more effort to get the tank shoulder and cone top to .... up against each other.

3. Occasionally the wick might be a bit too low in the atty spike. Vicki at Cignot has a short video that demonstrates what to look for and how to easily fix any wick positioning problem.

I have an ego-c and never had this problem. My husband on the other hand, had it all the time. First of all it could be the way you draw. You should take smooth and long draws as it is not like cigarette smoking. Another reason could be the liquid you use. Is it 100%VG?

I gave up on the T & C because of leaking, I know use the StarDust (AKA Vision Clearomizer)

Same for me, and it's just a few days old. I have bought a set of 5 DC Clearomizers. I'm not sure how they work, but since it's not a set of 4 parts screwed together, I guess there is no way it will leak.

Anybody here using clearomizers? Leaks??
