This may not work for everyone, especially with all the varying atty brands and eGo battery brands themselves. It most likely will have a negative impact on the draw of the atomizer by covering the air holes above the threads on a 510 atty.
Also, you shouldn't be dripping that much into an atty that it is constantly leaking. My guess is that the amount of liquid you're dripping in is too much for the atty to vaporize properly. This causes the excess juice to heat (expanding a bit, causing some of the extra leaking). The hot juice is bad for the coil over time. This is why attys get very hot to the touch, the excess juice is retaining the heat.
I would say use at your own risk...though there doesn't appear to be much risk, other than less than desirable performance and shortened atty life.
