Hello to everyone ,

I used to have the ego t batteries in the beginning with many different atomizer . Now i wanted the ''next level'' (a small mod) . I recently bought eleaf istick 30w + Eleaf GS tank TC Atomizer 3ml and I have leak on the drip tip . At the battery I don't have leak at all , but I have a lot at the drip tip .

I have the 1.5ohm original head (NOT the 0,15ohm) . The shop that i bought told me to set up my battery at 4volt 11watt and thats what I set , and told me not to change . I didn't tried to change the volts and watts yet because I don't know if I will damage my battery .

So , my problem is that I have leak at drip tip doesn't matter if I have the air flow on or off or half or anything . I tried everything about air flow . First i clean the drip tip , then I set one hole air flow , and then after few minutes there was liquid at the drip tip . Then , I clean , then I set two holes air flow , then again liquid at the drip tip . And so on .

So , can you please advise me what to do , so that I don't have so much leak ? Should I change the volts or watts or both without damaging my battery ? Will this solve my problem of leakage ? Or any other advise to stop this leak ?

Thanks in advance for your time and assistance ,
John

Changing it will not damage your battery.

The rule of thumb for EVERY vape device you'll ever own is the same (when running in power or wattage/voltage mode). Turn your voltage/wattage down, take a few hits, bump it up, couple more hits. Repeat until you find your "sweet spot". If it starts to taste funny, gets too hot or tastes burnt, back it down. Different flavors will have different sweet spots so you just have to experiment

Welcome!

If you're talking about liquid in the hole where the drip tip goes in, it's probably just condensation. I use a GS Tank and there is always some liquid in that hole when I take the drip tip off. It's nothing to worry about.

First of all , thank you very much for your reply , i am glad....i just thought that as long as i bought a better and newer model atomizer these leaks would disappear....because i used to have other atomizers that was also leaking....anyway , thanks again for your reply....

No tank should even "leak".. up your wattage bit by bit. Check what your atomizer/coil is rated for, and don't go over it.

It's probably set too low and the liquid isn't vaporized and overflows.

This probably give you some spitting and popping which would be a tell-tale sign.

Note that you can also get some coils that have flaws and winks too much. Trying another coil would show you this. If it does the same, then the heat is the issue, if it doesn't then a faulty coil would be your answer.

The GS tank will get a pool of liquid inside the drip-tip recess.

It is what is does. I get this 100% of the time with all/any liquid ratios (PG/VG) and power settings.

I use the 1.2ohm pure cotton 'Air' atomizer head and have 50+ in my box for the future as the UK/EU is getting close to some nasty regulations affecting tanks over 2ml, but probably not the replacement heads.

I use my GS tanks from 12 to 30* watts both on standard kanthal and temp* (Nickel) coils which come included in the tank box but are not really up to the job.

Please don't worry about it. You are not going to stop it and if you do, then you'll have discovered something pretty incredible.
I love these tanks.... this and flooding on refilling are the only downsides... but I still prefer them to Mini Nautilus BVC. :)
(and I can get multiple boxes of coils from China)...

I'm always amazed at the nautilus being so popular.. my wife and daughter both got some because of the store's recommendations, and while they worked fine, when I got my Kanger Aerotank (mini), both switched to that instead... the biggest trouble with the nautilus was how hard it was to open to fill. The nautilus was left behind and forgotten. But after I got my TC60W (Eleaf) with the Melo 2 tanks, again, both switched to the same again.

Hi and welcome. Some condensation of vapor at the drip tip is not unusual, or anything to worry about. Pretty much all tanks will do that occasionally, depending on weather etc. What it is, is vapor produced by the coil you did not inhale, and then cooled and condensed at the drip tip. You might beat it by releasing the fire button before you are finished inhaling, as this will clear most of the vapor out of the tank air passage.

And yes, increasing the watts will use more juice, all other things being equal.

I thought that cleaning the drip tip was the only problem which created the back flow and leakage. But this Eleaf
TC tank is more trouble than it's worth. IMO, sometimes these new technical innovations i.e., temperature control is gimmick. So you can lay out more cash. Will put away or throw away.

err.. virtually any tank can be TC, it's the coils that you put inside that matter... and it is NOT a gimmick.. I switched to TC last year and really hate when I'm using a non TC coil now.

It could be a bad batch of tanks, of coils, bad o-rings, a bad design, the liquid used, or just plain user error that is causing the leaks..

So I will disagree with your assessment that TC is a gimmick. Done right, it's a whole new level of awesomeness, and there's a LOT of vapers that shared this opinion. Most of the complaints I've heard, has been due to lack of knowledge and not doing it right.
