Are you taking a hit from your mod like you would do with a cig? With my Silver Bullet it took me an hour or so to realize that I cannot draw on it like a cig. You need to take slow draws so the liquid can be atomized. If you draw too hard the coil/battery can't keep up with the juice flow, and you get flooding/gurgling/juice in mouth stuff.

I have a lot of Protanks for having the ability to change juices quickly. Tighten the tank down with the hand only, slower draws, be careful that you don't get juice it the center tube when you fill...

The coils, I run them for about 20-25ml of juice. When I stop getting vapor, time to clean them.

Hope helps

Agree with the advice from others, so I wont bother to address that.

what other parts wear out with use, and when do I know when to replace them for optimal performance.

This though... the only other thing that will wear out over time is the o-rings. You will know it is time for them to be replaced, when they start to crack or get too big to fit (stretched out). You can find kanger o-rings at a few different vendors. They arent too hard to find. How often you might need to replace them, depends on how you clean, how often you clean, how hot you get your tank while vaping (chain vape a lot?), and even type of juice you use. There are really too many variables to give you a straight answer.

These would be the replacement o-rings;

Sounds like your atomizer is flooding. To fix a flooded atomizer take your tank off the battery and blow through the mouthpiece (with a paper towel under it). This will drain the extra eliquid.

When you inhale, take a long smooth draw vs a short sharp draw. This will prevent extra eliquid from being pulled into your coils and flooding it. Inhalation technique with an e-cigarette

Whenever you first sense that your atomizer is beginning to flood try this:
1. Open up the airflow so when you take a hit you are not pulling in as much juice into your coils (if your tank has airflow control) .
2. Raise your voltage or wattage if your battery allows you to do this. This will vaporize more eliquid.
3. Tip your battery up (and take a few hits). By tipping it up you will prevent more eliquid from being fed into the coils.

Give one or all of these a try.:)

I have had this flooding issue with several different Kanger products. EVOD 2 tanks, T3S's and pro. What I have noticed is where the stem coming off the head goes into the stem into the tank it is not making a proper seal and allowing flooding. To fix this problem I took an old EVOD 2 head and took the rubber grommet off it. I then flipped it up side down and stuck it on the stem for the head that was flooding. Then when I put it all back together that extra rubber grommet I put on made the proper seal I needed. I can pull from all the tanks like crazy, no flooding, no leaks. I also don't buy the replacement heads for these tanks I rebuild them, even though they say they are not rebuildable.

Also, if you let your tank sit for long periods of time (personal experience, don't know if this happens with everybody) your tank can tend to flood if it's not placed upright. I have a kanger myself and I've had a few flooding problems, nothing a bit of tissue and a q-tip won't solve.

I never had that issue with my clearos with protank coils. I never (literally never) keep them upright. They can lay in horizontal position and even be stored upside down - and no leaks at all.

Picture to show how this is done.

you're sucking too hard more than likely...I had this problem with 'em when I was new..and I love Kanger products (Love my Russian 91% better but too soon to rebuild almost though)

you can try doing what Susan said, blowing out gently and hope that clears it...

I prime mine one puff in and out before firing up what ever battery seems to help, it might make me feel better and do nothing but who knows...

slowing my roll with the inhale on velocity and clearing the pipe worked for me until I'd been at it a longer (and I use P2 w/air control valve and V2's primarily)

If you don't feel like pushing air through it via the air hole, you can place a paper towel over the mouthpiece and use gravity and physics to move the excess to the top by shaking the tank with the top toward the ground or away from you.

As for replacement issues the only thing I've had to replace on mine was an o ring that sits on the inside of the metal pieces so the glass rests without cracking. I only had to replace one, and only due to my own accident. I took one apart to clean it, didn't see the gasket/ring come out with the glass and went to rinse it. Before I knew it down went the ring into the drain.
