Recently I bought a Trident clone off eBay and after recoiling it works fine, but not having the original product I can't compare it accurately. I can say the adjustable air holes are drilled such that the only set of adjustment holes that match the outer ring are the largest holes. Fine enough since those are the ones I would be using anyway.

Yesterday I got in an Aqua and Origin clone set from Tobeco. I suppose the Aqua clone works well enough but the Origin mech mod clone is a piece of garbage. The bottom locking switch doesn't engage and the pipe threads are inconsistent so that all the pieces do not fit flush together without feeling they will bind.

These items were purchased via eBay. I guess that's my punishment for trying to be cheap?

Responding to my own thread...

I figured out the locking ring on the Origin and cleaned up the threads. There's still a gap at the end of one of the tubes for anything else connected it but I guess I can live with that. Rebuilt the coils and put in some cotton and the Aqua vapes very nicely.

Are you by chance trying to use protected batteries? They are often longer than IMR batteries of the same Mah rating. This could explain the poor fit.

No, it's the threads at the end of the 18650 extension pipe they don't go as deeply as the other pipes and leave at small gap at everything that is attached to it.
