So, while my non-smoker wife is trying to be supportive of my vapping, and is glad that I've quit cigs, she constantly is complaining about the smell from the vap.

On the one hand, I get slightly irritated, as almost everyone else I've vapped around has either said they can't even smell it, or with some juices, they say they love the smell!

On the other hand... I DO vape a LOT. I'm sure my sense of smell isn't nearly what hers is, and she seems, in most other ways to be supportive of my switch to PV's...

She's now banned me from vapping in her car. Hey, it shouldn't be THAT big of a deal... I couldn't smoke in her car, either. However, I really feel that vapping is not smoking, and if we go on long drives, we always taker her van (we have four kids!), and if I can't vape, it means we have to stop every so often for me to get my nic fix. I just have a hard time believing that with the window open, and me blowing the vape OUT the window, that it STILL bugs her, but she says it does.

She says "Oh.. I can't stand the smell of that vap. Don't you have another one"???

Problem is, she says it with ALL the juices I vape!

Tried Vanilla Tobacco, RY3, Pumpkin Spice, BB Cheesecake, etc. etc. You get the idea.

Any suggestions on a juice that has a very pleasant smell? Something that also tastes good, perferably? I'm looking for an "Indoor, spousal" juice! (does that sound sexual? Didn't mean for it to, if it does...)

Anyone elses non-smoking spouse/significant other complain about the smell?

Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions!

Nope, all my friends and family say they can't smell anything or if it's flavored says it smells good. I have never had a complaint about the smell, my mother did say she didn't want me to vape around her saying she didn't want to get any nicotine on her. So I don't vape around my mom indoors when I'm at my parents house.

My father doesn't care and has been actually spreading the word to his friends that smoke about vaping. Since everyone I know has seen a dramatic change in my health. I don't cough anymore which has plagued me for the last 5 years of my life....

My wife has a very sensitive smeller. I am always hearing, What's that smell or, do you smell that? She rarely complains about the smells that come from my E-cig though and when she does, it's not really a complaint. When we are in the car, she sometimes asks me to crack my window a little, because it's "to foggy". Actually, she seems to like the smell that the juices give off. Says they smell like cotton candy, vanilla or cookies. Whatever she relates the smell to, is always something good.
I could be wrong and quite often am, but it seems to me that no matter what flavor of juice you used, she wouldn't like it.

I have had this problem with my hubby and son. No matter what type of juice. They always complained about the odor. They never smoked BTW. I now crack the window in the car as if I am smoking a cigarette. Inside the house I bought air purifiers. This seemed to remedy the problem thus far.

They did have adverse reactions to the odor/flavorings. They would gag and cough upon entering my computer area.(Hubby face would turn red/almost a vile reaction) I won't get into anything technical here.

All is good for now. I hope to go flavor free soon.

What are her favorite scents ... in the food range, that is? Perhaps if she likes coffee, chocolate, caramel, etc., you could try some of those.

My hubby is saying that our house always smells like vanilla now, although I don't vape vanilla. LOL I've never been able to smell the vapor, except last night. I was vaping right before bed, and this morning when I lifted the covers (to let the Chihuhuha under them) I could smell the scent of the vapor.

The one I was using was "be oh be's OMG" by Kick Bass. It's SO good. Kind of buttery toffee candy flavored! It smells like buttery toffee. He doesn't have a site up and running yet, but you can order right through ECF. Here's the info. Check out all the yummy flavors!!

She likes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc...pretty much anything in the "wine" food group, she likes.

Does this help much?

I've seen wine flavored juice...somewhere. Don't remember where because I really don't feel that I want to vape wine. LOL

I notice they're all white wines, and none are sweet. Maybe it's the sweetness of the flavors that she's not liking. Kind of "sickening" to her?

Perhaps you could try some cleaner, outdoorsey, fresh type flavors? I'm sure some here would know of some.
