IMHO average mod + finicky Kick + low end atomizer may not give you results that you are expecting. Legacy $90 + Kick $50 + Dud $20 = ~$160. For that amount, I would prefer Vamo $40 + Original "The Did" $120 or some other combo that other members can recommend. After all, the key to a good vape is the atomizer.

But that's just me, you may get good results and be happy with that legacy combo. ;)

I see justin's points, but also think you selected a fair startup package. It seems you've done some reading. I also could highly recommend the Vamo.

My concern would be that you'll have some learning curve in rebuilding atties, and won't have something to vape on while you're learning. Do you currently smoke? How much? Are you trying to quit? How soon?

What about starting with a carto/tank instead of an RBA?

Geni's can be tricky...you could even do it right the first time, then the second time, screw something up and not figure it out for days. You'd be stuck without vapor.

A C-twist/pass-thru and clearo is a good starter setup, or I could see a VW device and carto tank. If you're trying to quit smoking, you don't want to be left with moments(or hours OR days) of frustration, without vapors, trying to figure things out. IMO

If you were to go with the legacy, I would suggest also getting something like an ego as a backup. I own the Legacy mini with an Ibtank on it and couldn't be happier. My backup is an ego-t with a vision et on it. You probably would never need another mod after the Legacy unless you want a new toy. You can run a carto, rba on it for starters. My Young June has become my fancy ohm meter. I have not tried a clero on my Legacy. To me only difference between my YJ and Legacy is. If kick went bad out of warranty, purchase new kick, If YJ or others like it go bad outside of warranty purchase new unit. If you go the route of vv spend the money on a ProVari. Just my 2 cents.

I have 2 twist and nova / stardust. I was looking into getting something nicer.

I don't own a legacy, but a mechanical with a kick is a good option, as long as the top cap is removable and you can insert batteries from the bottom end. If you can leave the kick in the device while making changes and don't have to take out the kick to change batteries, you'll have a great hassle free variable wattage set up. The precise plus is no good for a kick, neither is the chrome SmokTech telescope.

I do own a Legacy mini , 2 tanks, an a ego-t with the vision et on it. For me this is the perfect setup. I also have the extension sleeve for the kick which I don't own yet.
