So, I'm a bit worried. I just got into vapping about 2 weeks ago and it's been a godsend. I've got an NPro and been 12 days without an analogue so far and I really don't wanna go back. Now, from what I read in the legality section of the forum, it sounds like people are stocking up for dooms day but I can't seem to find any news about the ominous coming ban. Some referred to a sticky regarding legality and njoy but it doesn't appear to be there anymore.

Anyway, did I pick the absolute worst time to start e-smoking? I'm in NY state. Is this upcoming ban a national one. If not, will it still spread to NY? What are my options? Right now, the gas station across the street still sells Npro parts. Is that going to change soon?

I'm sure others will chime in (and also correct me if wrong) but the potential "ban" hinges on the results of a pending suit against the FDA. If the FDA prevails, they will block incoming e-cig related shipments coming into the country. Many feel that we would probably still be able to receive smaller personal shipments from China.

In short, the impression I get is that it would mostly cut off U.S. suppliers and we wouldn't be able to order from state-side suppliers anymore. As to the e-cigs themselves, they wouldn't be illegal to own or use, unless banned in a particular state.

The legal thread link is below. Look for posts by Sun Vaporer.... he updates the case daily and lets us know what, if anything, progressed that day (Mo-Fr).

Thanks for the update. I'll follow that thread.
