i'm tasting the legend from HHV and i'm not sure but it seems it is as close to marlboro as you can get.
i'm not sure if it's because i had put in mocha java earlier and somehow that is creating this imaginary marlboro taste so i can't be sure of what the true taste of legend is.
anyone can care to explain what the true flavor of Legend is?

To me, it's a slightly sweet pipe tobacco, a little woodsy with dark fruity notes (cherry, grape/raisin). It a very nice authentic pipe tobacco. It's in my top 10 list from HHV.

Couldn't have described it better, except to me it's a bit more than slightly sweet. It tastes nothing like a cigarette to me.

Well... Legend is a naturally extracted tobacco... so what you smell and taste IS, indeed, tobacco. I've tried nearly a half dozen non-NET 'tobacco' flavors from a different vendor, and the difference is night and day... it is obvious that the other ones are just a bunch of flavors thrown together to give an approximation of a tobacco flavor. Tobacco is an extremely complex little plant, and its flavor stems from countless little molecules all working in conjunction. Like most complex flavors, it is near impossible to replicate. It's like comparing freshly squeezed orange juice to an artifically flavored orange drink... yeah, it might get a little close, but it ain't oranges.

I LOVE Legend. The instant I took my first sniff I knew I was going to like it.... I have a 'sample' of Dragon's Fire, another HHV NET, and I can smell that tobacco foundation so I am sure I'll like it once I give it a shot. But if you want to find the flavor... just go to a local fine tobacco shop and start sniffing the good pipe tobaccos. If they have a good selection, there is a chance that you might find the (or at least one of) the actual tobaccos used in Legend.

I am glad I tried it... I LOVE the smell and taste of quality tobacco and never realized until I started vaping how burning it destroys that taste... what a waste of a fine plant.

I hated legend when i first got it. By the end of the sampler it had steeped and i was a believer. First juice that showed me the benefits of steeping. Just ordered another bottle last week...have no idea what flavors are in it, i don't really even taste tobacco it's just weird...i don't even like it that much but i like it lol

Love Legend.......I love all the HHV Tobaccos so that's not saying much. I kind of think all of their tobaccos have that unlit cigar in the mouth flavor till they have steeped a bit. That being said, their GA peach has it the most, I like it fresh out of the mail box because of it.

GA Peach is not one of their NET tobacco's. They still do good work with the tobacco flavor that they use for their non-NET ones. I think there are 5 that are not NET.

I love this stuff.

I finally broke in to the sampler vial that has been steeping for 3 weeks or so.

Ammmmmmmmaaaaaazing! I am trying it in a carto.

Great customer service too, because they threw this vial in for me because I asked nicely lol. I already had two sample packs but wanted to try every flavor plus one. Just ordered a larger 30ml vial of this stuff, in 24mg 20/80 pg/vg.

I just hope I can make the remaining 3ml sample size last while I steep the new one!

All I know is it was in my first HHV order
And I thought this is it

got it in second order
I thought what is this
It was still really good but different then when I first ordered

So I have I shied away from reordering again

Did anything change between your two orders?

Different PG/VG ratio, or nic level?

Maybe one was on hand so it showed up pre-steeped, and the new one wasn't?

I know I am going to have a hard time letting my 30ml bottle steep, but I would like to come as close as possible to approximating the flavor from the sample vial. I am pretty sure the sample vials are premixed and in stock, so they have to be steeping for some length of time.

To be honest I wish all of these manufactures would print a mix date on their samples, so that buyers can figure out how long to age the fullsize bottles.

Every single small glass vial of my five pawns had a born on date, pretty impressive. But I like the Legend better than all five of those flavors, even though they are also nice.

Same, I really loved it when it was Gandalf. Order a second bottle and well it wasn't the same, not really even close. Been thinking of trying it again because I really loved that first bottle.

I do steep everything
I am actually the first person to mention it

I dripped on and off for about 2 and a half month's

the sharpness of the flav was not there it was more mellow of a flav
and it developed a cherry flav to it

Legend has cherry notes to it. It's part of the profile. Sometimes it might comes off as something else, but it's definitely cherry notes.
