The man who wrote this article should be fired for being ignorant and writing without researching the subject.I wonder every day what the hell happned to journalists these days.Very few of them do research or report without a personal agenda.
What happened to journalism is profit motive. It took out TV journalism first and now print is following suit. Blame share holders for TV. Blame Craigslist for print.
So, in other words, the piece isn't by a journalist. It's by a functionary from the office of a legislator, but it's being presented as journalism.
I notice that EVERY legislator or congress-person who is advocating bans and restrictions is a Dem....controll freaks!!..tax, spend,and regulate, its all about power and money for themselves...
Yes, because the other party would NEVER consider telling us what to do with our lives, like who we could marry, or what substances we can ingest. And they would NEVER do anything like give their corp. friends no-bid contracts worth billions of dollars.

sorry you are getting so testy but it is the dems who just voted for this bill and it is a democratic president who signed this big tobacco bill and it is the dems who introduce a bill to ban e-cigs

I guess some people just don't know when to stop. At least you could be informed when you criticize. Is that too much to ask? Look at who voted for HR 1256. It wasn't just Democrats. Plenty of Republicans voted for it too. Most of them, in fact. Furthermore, the bill hasn't been signed into law yet, so your statement about that is incorrect too.
Look, it's simple. We're all trying to work together here. Democrats and Republicans. There are going to be moments when we clash and there are going to be threads where a discussion of our various political viewpoints are appropriate. This isn't one of them. All you're doing here is launching rhetorical attacks on a party you disagree with. It's counter productive and inappropriate for this thread. I suggest you give it a rest before a moderator closes the thread altogether.
That's not "being testy," that's trying to move forward.
