My Lemos, the two pieces of the chimney don't, very often, want to come apart for cleaning. Does anyone have a suggestion? I am a little leary about using a blowtorch to get them apart.
Kind of the opposite of what you would think, but try gripping them with less pressure. If I hold them tight, this happens to me, too. As soon as hold them gently, they come right apart.

Grip them lightly enough that the parts actually slip in your fingers as you try to loosen them. To much pressure distorts the chimney base making the problem worse.
