New to vaping how is lemo vs aspire atlantis?

I have both & would suggest the Lemo over the Atlantis.
The coils for the Atlantis are pretty pricey whereas the Lemo is a rebuildable.
I use the Atlantis for when I just dont feel like dripping.

You did say you're new to vaping so it would help us to know what gear you already have so we don't sit here having you do or spend more than you're ready for.

Ordered me a stainless Drop yesterday. I used to kind of hate the Lemo because of all the praise it got but I could never get it working right. Problem was I was wicking it like a kayfun. Once I got the wicking down it's been working superb.
It is very similar to wicking a Kayfun so what were you doing wrong?

I'm pretty sure I had too much cotton in there. I would cut, put the chimney on, and then lightly push the wick down to the deck. Or I would snake it along the side. What I found to work was to cut it shorter, juice it, and then just push the wick against the side wall, so the ends of the wick are resting on the deck.

Sorry to bring up an old post but sounds like there are several here that have and like their lemo. I got a drop in the mail today. Worried about what could possibly be in the stock coil and wick I removed it and rebuilt. I also read somewhere that someone else was worried about the airflow adjustment being loose so I took an o-ring off my little screwdriver to provide some resistance. I tightened up the airflow to the point where it was almost shut off, placed the o-ring and backed off the adjustment till it got a little tight. Checked airflow and it was perfect. I built my coil, wicked it and finished the build. I opted to remove the fill screw and replace with the rubber stopper.

All went well. I just filled up about 1/4 of a tank. Hitting like a champ. Packed up the workbench and walked to the couch. 5 steps down the hall and I have a hand full of juice coming out the bottom. I can't possibly understand how it doesn't come out.

Is the wick the only thing that keeps the juice from coming out the bottom? I've heard some say don't cover the channels and others say to feather the ends and cover them up. I can't seem to see how it won't leak.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm freaking bummed that I had to take it off and put the kayfun back on but I did.

Thoughts?

Check to be sure you have both glass o-rings in.
    Also check the fill plug.

Both glass o-rings are there as well as the plug. I'm wondering if I should try again with the screw instead of the plug. Maybe it got twisted when I tightened up the base.

Could have. I've only used the screw so far.
    For me its never leaked.
I lay it on its side for a couple hours, when charging. No leaks.
Wicked like a KF, exposed channels.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like that should be the way to go. I was so looking forward to not carrying around a small Phillips all day every day but oh well. I'll quit whining and just use it the way it was intended. I was convinced I broke the dam somehow but after hearing this I realized there are really only 2 places it could be leaking from. The O-ring and the fill hole. No way it's coming down through the air hole. Not when I only filled it up a little bit.

Happy Holidays all. Thanks again. Sometimes it just takes hearing it from someone else to make your mind up.
