Length of short 808 + CE3 vs long 808 + cart

So, I'm looking to get a short 808 from SI (Volt) with the CE3 cart but I'm hoping it will fit in my existing case that holds a long 808 with a standard cart. Is the length of the short 808 with CE3 attached equally as long or shorter than the long 808 with standard cart attached?

It is almost exactly 4 3/4 inches or 120mm hope that helps.

I should add that is the length of the volt auto with CE3 attached
