Just received my LEO Cartomizers and filled one iaw instructions on the LEO thread and I get zero vapor. When I replace the the carto with my atty, it works fine. Any suggestions other than I may have a bad carto?
If you have access to a digital multimeter check the resistance between the center post and the threads. This will tell you if the carto is truly dead or if there is another issue. What device are you trying to fire it with and what resistance are the carto's. If it is too low of a resistance many devices will think there is a short and not power it up.
Ok, the generic LEO cartomizers that i picked up measure in at 2.5 ohms. Still can't figure out what the difference between these and a 510 cartomizer is. I see absolutely no difference. I'm not happy with the hard cap but at the price I got these at I think I will order a bunch for spares.
That leaves me back at the OP's post, and I think the first place to start is to pull out a second and see if you get the same results. I would use your least favorite juice for testing. =] I keep a large bottle of 100% PG tobacco that I don't like for this purpose. That is unless you have access to a multi meter to track down the actual failure point.
I just did some looking on some web sites and it does look like what I purchased is not actually for the LEO. The LEO appears to use a wider thread. I'm guessing there is either a 510 version of the leo or what I bought was miss labeled.
But, my trouble shooting suggestions should still hold true for any cartomizer.
Ok, I'm off to bed to so I can get up and earn more money to spend on vaping...
You're just conflating Boge Cartos (available for 510's 808's and probably others) with Leo Cartos made only for Boge's proprietary PV (the Leo). I'm glad you didn't buy the Leo cartos -- you would just have to return them!
have a good night!
