As a new vaper, I have been learning a ton of lessons about the care and feeding of this beast. I love the beast:2cool: but it has been a challenge I have tried a cigarette on occasion over the past few weeks that I have been doing this and they are starting to taste yucky!

I have been using CE4 atomizers.

1. Clean off the battery terminal every night.
2. Sometimes you need to use a pair of tweezers to grab the post inside the bottom of the atomizer to reseat it as it can drip.
3. Don't let the liquid go down too far or you may start to get a burned taste.
4. Don't overfill it either.
5. If it is tasting plasticky, then take the atomizer off, cover the bottom and take a couple of hard drags on the tip. It will pull juice into it. Sometimes the wick isn't properly primed.
6. Take the atomizer apart, wash it out with water, let it dry and then "dry burn" it. This will clean off the element.

It would be great to hear your lessons too.;)

Experimenting is how I've found all my best results.
I started with the cheapest no-name brand atty, which got the job done. Then gave cartomizers a good run as well.
In the end I found I am a bottom coiled clearomizer type of guy. Kanger Protank II hasn't let me down yet. Just rebuilt my first cotton wick inside it last night.
If you've got a decent battery you might want to try picking up one of those tiny cheap drippers. Not sure what brand mine is. (No labels of any kind.) But, it only set me back $8.99 and was worth playing with before I worked up to more expensive RDAs.

Always get a spare, and a spare to the spare (not overdoing of course)
Believe me I have an evic with a spare battery, a double set of red kiwi several clearos. The day before yesterday Batery of evic was over I went to change but the charge of the other (I dont know why) was not complete yet. I was in the sitting room to watch Netherland Turkey match So I grabbed one of the red kiwi batteries it also finished and other saved the minutes to come.

Have backups for your backups.
Don't overfill your atomizer.
Bring a backup with you.
Bring a backup of your backup with you.
Don't pick up a cartomizer tank by the tank.
Don't refill your tank over your lap.
Take slower draws.
Step up voltage/wattage slowly.
Drink lots of fluids.
Don't use 'burned' juices.
Vaping has a learning curve for something as seemingly simple as a different juice.
Don't overtighten atomizers.

I think that's enough for now... LOL!

Good luck and have fun!

Learned I should have done my research WAY before I did. Feel like I waistd a year+ and who knows how much money on 'cig style' VPs with the pre filled cartridges and batts that last 15 min. Make me appreciate the 'real' VPs that much more. First setup, bought a week ago, is a black Vision Spinner with Pro Tank 2 with blue glass and a polished tank skirt. Can feel thatr the Vape Bug has sunk her teeth into me and wont be letting go. Already tore into the coil for a little rebuild action just to see whst its all about. Looking for my first MOD and a few bad as$ rebuildables.
