Not many people have shared that have stuck with the cig a like models here. They (me included) usually quickely move on to something with a better battery life, and better throat hit. Let us know what your smoking habits are. What kind, and how many. Also, whats your budget? We can then have a better idea the best match up for your needs.

I typically smoke 3-5 cigs a day, save when I start drinking... Then it goes up to a pack a night +... The hardest part about the cig a like models is when you get drunk the only thing you're feeling is nicotine and water hit the back your throat, so i'll end up switching the analogs... I've spent so much money on cig a like variants i'm willing to spend a good couple hundred to get started on a long lasting mod... And i'm a Camel Turkish Royal fan through and through.

Welcome to ECF, good idea on skipping the cigalikes. Not sure what you are looking for though, ego style batteries are a good starting place, I like the Vision Spinner, itaste V3 VV/VW gets great reviews.

It depends also on how much you want to spend, Vamo kits can be had for around $50, Innokin MVP and SVD are good, Sigelei Zmax line is good, of course there are many more choices out there. I don't recommend going high dollar until you are sure vaping is right for you, nor do I recommend a mechanical or rebuildables until someone has more experience.

Here are a few links.

$58.85 Vamo V3 5-in-1 Variable Voltage Mod / E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Kit - stainless steel / Nitecore I2 US battery charger / 2*Sony 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$45.16 INNOKIN iTaste MVP 2600mAh Voltage Adjustable Rechargeable Mechanical LCD Battery with iClear 30 Atomizer - blue / 2.7

$39.54 iTaste VW V3.0 7-in-1 Variable Voltage Rechargeable 800mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - vv-3.0 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Just something to look at, maybe you can tell which style you like best.

Thanks for the links, it looks like the last one would probably be most fitting for me, if I were to go this route... Do you recommend any tobacco flavors that hit the spot on replicating the taste?... I've yet to find one that's like the Turkish Royals i'm so fond of..

Someone else will have to recommend flavors, I DIY. One thing I can recommend is starting with many small samples, you might be surprised at what you like. I still make tobaccos, but more and more I mix them with things like fruit, and find myself making more fruit and dessert type juices. Good choice on the itaste, might want to get an ego or something as a backup.

I don't do straight up tobacco flavors either. Also, havent read much good things on them. I do vape tobacco blends which are my favorite. I recommend RY4 from Mister E liquid. And Bobas Bounty from Alien Visions. Taste is very subjective when finding the right juice. As said before, get yourself many samples.
