Hey guys,

My name is Josh. Just wanted to introduce myself and get these 5 posts out of the way... I am new to this forum but not new to e-cigs. I use a range of devices depending on my mood. I have a few mech mods, a couple tesla spiders. My go-to right now is my eLeaf iStick with nautilus mini when I am on the run. At home I stick to dripping most of the time. I'm sure this has been covered before many times but do most people experience that they go through juice like crazy when dripping? I am rolling through my juice! Anyway just wanted to say whats up and happy vaping!

cheers Josh! welcome aboard and enjoy the ride.
Yes juice is required and can take you in a lot of directions. Depending on your budget, and/or your talent for mixing your own, you will never run out of options.
Dual coil atomizers will double your consumption... I've yet to find a dual that has as good flavor as some of the RTAs out there, ymmv though, and I keep looking.
Sounds like you are set up just fine for a newb!

Thanks! Yea I have been thinking a lot lately about doing my own juice. I have never mixed before so I don't know where to start. Do you have any recommendations of where to start with that?

I can say to check out what others like as far as which brand of flavor etc... theres so many charts that will help you with percentages and all, and imo don't bother with the "flavor additives" like sweeteners etc.
A good fruit or other flavor concentrate doesn't need it and most additives have been found by many to diminish flavor quality over time.
Keep it simple.
There's also recipes that will allow you to benefit from other's research and efforts; that's what I'd do too if I was starting out.

Don't expect to match some of the better designer type e juices out there, but if you find somethings that work for you, you will be helping your pocket book to that extent.
I find that my DIY mixes allow me to splurge a little on some of the super excellent ($) juices.
I even dilute some of the store bought juice with some of my DIY to stretch my budget.

Great advice :thumb:

If I buy expensive liquid I usually get it at a higher strength than I need and dilute it down to the strength I prefer. Makes it go further.

I'm not saying I am thrifty but I do dry and reuse my tea-bags*

*I don't really, that would be gross.

Use thinner wire and you'll go through less juice.

Yep! DIY juice is the way to go if you're burning up a litre a year.

The easy start is :
First you can get VG (glycerin) anywhere;
The important one is PG (propylence glycol) : if you can get that they you're happy. Otherwise you'll have to dilute the vg with water 5 or 10%, maybe more possible if using a dripper.

You can buy high strength ejuice and dilute it with vg and/or pg.
