My pleasure Tim. The friendliness of the people here is what got me over my friend-phobia. I never even wanted forum friends before ECF. It is just different here, in a very good way.

I now have a lot of V4L friends, but I still don't get the concept . . .
If I feel like talking, I do it in a thread.

I do enjoy looking at the "friends" tab on my profile page, and just seeing the familiar avatars of people who make me smile.

Nope! When I started on this forum it was a lot smaller then it is now but still huge. I loved seeing my brand new friends in all the forums..it made it a bit less daunting. Kind of like having friends to sit with at lunch! I don't wander the whole board like I used to..but it's still nice to see those avitars and names.

I love getting a notification that I have a new friend request.
I feel like Sally Field. "They like me! They really like me!" Um, yeah. I need to get out more.

I don't know how to accept friend requests...and I have 0 friends. I looked around my profile and "notifications". How do I know if I have friend requests? I would accept them if I could find them (if there are any out there). I tested trying to friend someone, hope it worked!
