Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat.

Not the worse I have ever had, but could have been better.
It is a little punk on the cherry flavoring. (supposed to be real cherries, maybe)

It is doing well with my RY4 24mg. Yes I have bumped it up a notch from 18mg

Oh man, Michigan has a TON of great microbrews. The most famous would be Bell's out of Kalamazoo. I love Arcadia out of Battle Creek. Lately there has been so many local beer choices that I can't keep up! (Or at least my wife won't let me try!$$$)

I have my local that puts out some 9% and if I ask nicely, maybe some special 13%....that would be enough to lay me down flat.

I'm all about the high alcohol beers.. barleywines and other high-octane ales

Mad Elf is 11% if I remember
Also if you ever find Dogfish Head World Wide Stout be sure to get a bottle.. 18%! Usually I'll split a 12oz bottle between two or three friends.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm kinda glad cold weather's here. Nothing warms up a cold evening like a nice mug of stout beer. I went a little crazy with the hoppy beers during the summer. Nice to have a good ole malty beer again. mmmm

Anyone else do homebrew? Talk about an addictive and rewarding hobby! I'm getting all the parts together to build my own kegirator. Should have 20 gallons of beer on 4 taps going soon. Hoping to get some of the stuff I need for Christmas. Plead...please.. Santa, I've been good....

My bro in law got a 5 gal brew in a bucket type thing 2 yrs ago for xmas,
I dont think he had the motivation just yet to start a batch.

He is the most microbrewed dedicated drinker I have ever met.

I'll have to ask him about it.

Do it man. My first homebrew was a Mr. Beer kit. If you just follow the directions, and exercise some patience; you can make some GOOD beer.

Yeah I heard about those too. I've never had a problem. Mostly because they recently came out with these drops you can add during fermentation that pretty much guarantees that your beer will not foam up too much. So no airlock explosions!
