I've got a question and don't want to clutter up the forum with a thread just to ask it, it's not too far off topic on this thread so I guess I'll ask it here. what is the great appeal of the wood reo's? is it exclusivity, or do some just really like the rounded feel of the wood or the look of hand craftsmanship, or is there something else about it that I'm not even realizing?
I once had the same position / questions. Metal is all this kid needs. Then I got a woodvil. The. "in hand" feel is in a different realm than the metal REOs. I really dig my metals but the feel of the wood combined with how amazing they look is the appeal to me. The level of craftsmanship make them off the chain.
They seem to hit harder too.
The exclusivity of it - the fact that they are nearly impossible to get / working collector items weighs in on it too I'm sure
Look at this beast
