It's been a little on the wet side here in Central Texas so I'm going to head west where it's usually a little drier. Heading out to the oil patch in West Texas where it's always dry. Going to see these guys.

Love this place because you can get so close to the start rope.
I'm not sure if I can get a good action pic of it with just a phone,. Standing at water level is really cool, the faster flat bottom boats almost fly a few inches off the water.

We must have brought the rain with us, good line of storms formed right on top of us and things are a bit swampy this morning.
Saw a cool sunrise that came way too early. Had to sneak out of the campground and make quick dash to Wally World for some things I forgot.
Made it back about 7:00 and found these guys wandering through the campground. Nothing like some nature and nitro!
Unfortunately somebody moved into my view of the lake from the cabin over night. Loaded up with fresh batteries. Sure Bert in the green / black and ghetto mix of Wakonda and Cookie in the other.
