The eGo-T, a PV which has always caught my interest and raised an eyebrow, is a device I'm curious about even after having it for a short while. Overall, I'm very pleased with it. There are a few oddities that I'd like to go over. As a quick note, this review is over the type A kit from absolutelyecigs.

Without going too in depth, the battery has a 510 connection, somewhere around 1000 mAh and 3.7 V as far as I can tell. If someone sends me a voltmeter then I'll be happy to correct that. Unlike the other eGo batteries I have, this one has an on/off switch when the button is pressed 5 times in a short period. Very handy to have!
Here's where I left familiarity and entered curiosity. The atomiser is built into the cone, instead of just sitting inside of it on a different set of threading. This means less pieces rolling around when disassembled, but does mean that a misplaced thumb can easily plug one of the air holes. It's not a bad idea, and truth be told I kind of like it. Cool concepts aside, The atomisers are actually pretty tough. They've taken plenty of abuse and are still kicking. Leaking also isn't too much of an issue. The only time it comes close to being an annoyance is when the tank is removed from the atty, and a small amount of liquid hangs around on the tank.

As you can see, the clear blue tanks can catch your eye when attached to a black-and-silver PV. The look isn't too dissimilar to a drip tip perched on a regular 510 atty. The tanks hold a little over 1ml of ejuice. Less than the average tank mod, but more than enough for long vaping breaks between refills. Refilling is also a snap- the clear rubbery base slips off of the clear blue tank body. Don't try to finick with the small hole made by the atomiser like I did.

Here's a few closing notes- The charger works fine with all of the 510 batteries i could fine, and the batteries themselves seem to only differ from other eGo batteries with the on/off switch. Vapor production is pretty fair and consistent. I'd like to note that flavor does differ between atomisers, and I can easily tell this difference. Burning tastes don't usually happen as long as your tank is partially filled, but having 'off' tastes happen a little more often than I would prefer. If there's a way to avoid this, I'm all ears.
Without going on about it for too much longer, the eGo-T is a very good device, save for a couple nitpicks of mine. The kit contains everything you need to get going with it except for your liquid (which can also be bought from absolutelyecigs) at a pretty reasonable price. I can't compare it to the type b eGo-T, but it's reliable and very usable all the same. Dihydrogenmonoxide approved.
