I would stick with silicone o-rings for drip tips. I have heard that the rubber can interact with juice.
If you have a hobby shop in your area that sells parts for radio controled cars, they might have silicone o-rings in the sizes you need. They use them rebuilding the shocks on RC cars.

BTW, wooden clothes pins are coming back. A lot of people these days are putting up clothes lines to stay green. My dryer gets used less and less these days.
