Ive seen u wicks and dual wicks from pretty much all materials. But there are a few ideas that im intrested in trying out and was wondering if anyone has experience with them. Im speaking for a aga t2 because that is what ill be building on. But i would like to hear about wicking styles on relatively any RBA or rda.
Has anyone run 2 u wicks(2 wicks goings through 1 hole)?
Has anyone ran a single wick through 2 coils?
Has anyone split a wick so that it looks like a Y?
I was thinking about rolling 2 ss wicks and then rollin part of those in a 3 piece of ss to use one wick to wick 2 coils. Anyone tried that ?
Im a trucker and am barely home once a month, so i will tinker with it when i get a chance and will post pics of what i got. Until the someone might beat me to it or already has experience, anyhoo...i wanna hear from yoh

i saw someone roll 3 separate wicks then wrap the top with mesh and coil that area. it worked ok but seems more hassle for what came of it.

several people have "double"wrapped a single coil, cant see the benefit myself unless trying for lower resistance with high resistance wire. the belief is more wire = more surface area touching the wick, but if you want to go that route just use ribbon wire.

the best thing to do if you have a dual hole atty is just build 2 wicks and coils, i tried the u wick thing, and my reaction was "i really dont get it or see any benefit" because if you build the mesh wick correctly it works fine and the idea of added wicking from a U isnt needed.
if wicking is a concern many wrap the mesh around silica or cotton for a soft wick center to help the mesh stay wet.

so far I have tried so many different things and keep coming back to a simple 28 or 30 gauge wrapped around a standard wick. the only thing that works better is dual wicks.

but good luck and let us know what you come up with.

sound like you need one of these bad boys
G Vx - Genisis 4-Coil Verdampfer Edelstahl - InTaste

in any case just find one of the dual coil capable attys and drill 2 more holes in the deck, would probably end up being less work then futzing around with alternative wick setups. something like the pulse from fasttach with 2 holes for 13 bucks would probably work great. already has screws for neg connections all over the deck
