Just wanted to say I picked up my win from Freedomsmoke USA today, staff were great, did some juice testing and went with a coco-rasberry juice! It tastes great, and I don't usually say that about commercial juices now that I DIY, but I am vaping it now in my Siren V2, and it tastes fantastic! Good enough that I would seriously order another bottle next time in the area.

It was really fun to walk into my old haunting ground to pick up a win, and see how everything is changing. I really LOVED that there were educational materials around on battery safety, and other things, and that Freedomsmoke USA continues it's advocacy for Tucson's community!

The staff were great, and really helpful and I just wanted to say, thanks again, very much :)

So, I am new here, I am hoping to get to know some of you. One of my favorite things in the whole world is my Papillon, Daytona and she loves to smell my flowers, lol.
Show me your Dog/cat! View attachment 732469

You have a beautiful dog. I'm Opinionated (like, for real too.. hahaha)

But my handle comes from this quote:

quote-my-right-to-speak-my-mind-to-have-a-voice-to-be-what-some-have-called-opinionated-is-teresa-heinz-77-33-47.jpg

I no longer vape, but I'm big on its advocacy. I smoked for 32 years 2 PAD and the only way I got over the addiction was vaping.

I don't know if I'll ever end up vaping again, so i keep a vapocalypse stash for myself. There are a few more items I want for future insurance.. so I'll spend the next year or two spending some..

Other than that, my whole family vapes now. My son, my husband, friends, 2 of my SIL.. they all currently vape. My brother in law did but he's also quit now.

Christmas for my son includes vape gear.. lol.

I also like to have something in my purse to give to strangers I think might be interested in vaping.

I live in the Appalachian mountains am married and we have one cat. The cat was wild and somehow found her way into our basement from the outside December before last. We've never found how she got in, but in she got. She was starving when we found her.. or when she finally was hungry enough to make her presence good and known when I was making Salmon one night..

She ate salmon with us, then we went to Walmart and got food, toys, a bed, litter box and litter.. and she's been with us ever since..

She has a squeaky stuffed mouse, and it's her stuffed animal. She brings it with her up into the bed when she's going to sleep, and sleeps with it just like a two year old would sleep with a beloved stuffed toy.

Tons of wild animals here.. bear, deer, elk, opossum, raccoon, squirrels, chipmunks etc etc etc. You name it, it's the mountains and we have it..

We have two sons both grown, and four (working on 5) grandchildren. Two came from my daughter who has passed away from cancer, and two are from one of the boys, they are pregnant again now.. just found out.. The other son (who also happens to be the oldest) is still single..

That is me in a nutshell.. I just hang out. I'm disabled, and ECF somehow became home..

Welcome to ECF!

Welcome to ECF!
well hello to you! Your story is very much appreciated, getting to know you all is the best part of my day! I am so happy that you are 100% smoke.vape free, that is our goal after all, what other business has the goal to be successful enough to put themselves out of business?! lol, we have a long way to go, but you are a success story that will keep us trucking on! Thanks for complimenting my dog, I think she is beautiful! I am very blessed that she found her way into our lives. Sorry to hear about your daughter- my handle CFREE angie, comes from the fact that I am now Cancer Free, after fighting breast cancer 1st- chemotherapy, then surgery, then 6 weeks of radiation 5 days a week and targeted therapy infusions for a year. It has been rough, but I am still here and grateful for each day, sad for those who weren't as fortunate as me:(
Have a great day! Stay Opinionated!

I have had a pretty terrible day, so far. The husband is on a rampage, and well, I called my mom to ask if I can move there, in case I need to. I did see my doc, and he gave me helpful suggestions, but I'm not going there today. Nor am I going to Colorado today.

But, sometimes it's nice to know it's an option. LOL. I married a dude with Combat PTSD, and there are moments where I just want to hand him a gun, and say, "I'm an enemy combatant, you KNOW how to use it."

Things are not normally so bad. I'm sure it will pass. My doc (who also treats the husband) told me that mainly though, he can't manage his anger OR his narcissism and that I needed to have the "I married you because X, Y, Z, if you want this marriage to continue you need to see this therapist your doc found you to address it." LOLz.

I think I will have that talk on a better day. I also need to not have days just like TODAY either. They are such a downer, but I'm afraid that my desire to even consider if I WANT to stay married, first.

At the end, my doc asked me that. I was like, "Well, at the moment, I sort of want to be a widow. I want to POISON him."

Shocked, assessing silence.

"Dude, I was kidding." LOL.

So, who is having an awesome day?

Wow! i am sorry my friend! I know how hard it can be to live with that disorder for those going through it, but people forget that it is just as hard for those who live with them! maybe harder in some aspects. I really hope that this gets easier for you both soon. I know divorce is not always the answer, but sometimes it's the only one..well Vs. Murder. I know several who have combat ptsd, my son included and it broke my heart to hear his absolute hopelessness, he is doing a lot better now, So I know! it is possible, they really need to want to be better though and really have to value the people they love enough to move forward with getting help. this is just my opinion from the examples i have been in close contact with, I know there are so many different stories. Sad! I really wish there was a way that no one would ever have to deal with this again. I hope you have a better day.
NOW let's lighten up this place! answer the question! Music or Silence? lol for me the answer is always, music! it can transport you, validate, change your mood, there's always a song!
Hang in there!
