Multi meter - test Charger
Alcohol swab - clean charger contacts

HG2 = 3000mAh - Long time to charge at low 450mAh rate

This ^^^, plus use the multi meter on the batteries too and see what level of charge they have. 4.2V +-0.03 is pretty full but they may still need a bit longer to complete. 3.7V is about half charged.

That Trustfire charger is not the best. I wouldn't leave it on overnight. They have been known not to completely stop charging and can ruin your batts because of it. Take the batteries out when they are fully charged.

Just bought a married pair of lg hg2 3000 mah and they have been on my trustfire dual for 4 to 5 hrs or more and the light hasnt turned green im charging at 3.6v any help will be greatly appreciated

1) if there is a switch on that Trustfire charger, set it from 3.6v to 4.1v or 4.2v, if you have the option, otherwise that charger will not charge them over 3.6v
2) Next paycheck get yourself at least a Nitecore i2 charger, you can find them online for around 10 to 15USD plus shipping, then once you have it, toss that Trustfire crap into the garbage.

Want to save money in vaping, save it on juice, learning to rebuild, and buying maybe clone mods and equipment, never, ever, skimp on quality batteries and a quality charger to go along with them.

A blog entry I just did today, got a nice section at the bottom about chargers.

I had to wait until today to post here. I bought these LG 18650HG2 3000mAh 20a from RTD vapor. I received them yesterday but had to wait until this morning to charge them. They metered at 3.6 before I put them on my efest LUC 2 bay charger. I set the charger at .5 because I wanted a slow charge on them. They have been on the charger for just over 3 hours so far. One is at 4.2 and the other at 4.1 right now so it is close to time for the charger to let me know it is time to remove them.

This is telling me that with a decent charger your batteries shouldn't take much over 4 hours to charge.
