Liasimo L1 problem

I know this device is old but i gotta ask anyway. how the hell do you get the drivers installed on a pc for firmware upgrades? everytime i try the windows 7 64bit install my computer tells me i need the 64 bit install. does anyone know what the hell is going on?

ok so i got the drivers installed but now when i connect the device to my computer it says the install has failed for the windows drivers. and can a mod move this to the correct forum please? i placed it here by accident

i did and it still doesnt show up keeps saying it cant install the drivers whenever i plug it in
