So I'm new here and I wanted to get something out there about Liberty Flights since it's my first E-Cig purchase. My intent is to review what I have experienced thus far in the process and I will later, once another step has been complete, continue my review... Sort of like an ongoing progress report.

I started by coming here and asking questions in the Newbie area and was directed to several different places. After spending several hours researching and replying to others in my thread, I decided to go with Liberty-Flights.com

I chose Liberty-Flights due to their current 20% discount off your purchase promotion plus they had the Joye eGo starter kit, not only in stock but had a few special priced bundles left, as well as the good suggestions and feedback I received on them.

I placed my order early Sunday morning (Around 3AM EST) eagerly awaiting Monday to have my order status updated to tell me it shipped.

Monday afternoon rolled around and I was a little antsy because I wanted my E-Cig so bad and I decided to contact them since I was a bit fuzzy on their shipping methods and perhaps paying them extra to ship it overnight. I e-mailed their support address and within an hour or so I received a response telling me that my order was received and they use USPS Priority Shipping which takes 1-3 days but it was at the end of their list for shipping priority on Monday and may not be packed and shipped that day. He did say that he would talk to someone about speeding up my order if possible but wasn't sure yet since it was still early there (The support section of their site puts them in Cali, a 3 hr difference for me).

Later on Monday night I received an automated e-mail from LF stating my order status had changed and I had a tracking number! I was super excited that my e-cig was now embarking on its journey.

As of this morning my tracking number was working however it just stated that USPS had been electronically notified of an impending shipment so I hope that it isn't still sitting there waiting to be sent out (I'm not super familiar with online ordering and how well or quickly shipments are updated) I was told by a friend and colleague that sometimes they never get updated after the initial tracking update so I wait now for my parcel to arrive or at least an update of where it is!

So far my dealings with Liberty Flights has been outstanding. They have great prices from what I saw and their support seems great. I loved that I got a quick reply with not only an answer but some extra helpful info and a vow to try and speed up my package. I felt kinda special!

I will update this as soon as either my tracking status is updated or I receive my package!

(As an aside, for anyone who has dealt with LF: How long did your shipment take to be processed, shipped and received? I was told they are pretty good about their orders and shipping things pretty quickly, can anyone confirm this with a mini-review within this thread?)

I ordered thurs 10/21, my status is still checked out. No idea when it will be shipped. i emailed them to inquire. and yesterday got an email back saying it should be shipped out today (Monday). Here it is Tuesday and my status is still the same. Checked out. 3 full business days, and no status change.

Patience little one. lol

My first order took 6 days because they sent it Fed-X.

My second order took 2 days USPS from the time it showed up on the tracking status.

They are really great on customer service. My eGo didn't have the ac charger in it and I had one in my hands in 2 days with extra juice...

I see that you are new here...welcome...also you may want to check out the "stalking the mail person" threads to get some tips on the most successful techniques.
I personally use a combination, depending on the weather, binoculars from the windows in heavy rain or snow; table, chair, umbrella, cooler, and magazine next to the mailbox; (the magazine is so I don't appear over eager); to full scale camo and duck blind (for those extra special anticipated deliverys).

Hope this helps. We each have our own style and it would seem from your post that you will very soon fine tune yours...this post was a great beginning. lol

I actually found a thread with both of you guys posting in it over in the Liberty Flights suppliers section and replied in there after I posted this. I have to say this, I feel emailing them immediately the next day about the urgency may have helped mine get picked and shipped but I also suggested in that thread that you guys take up Abe and Ty on their offers to contact them and get some direct info. It's possible your shipment didn't get updated since they said they had over 400 to go through and ship; like maybe a few slipped through the cracks and didn't get an update on the website that it did indeed ship when it actually did. Just throwing it out there... maybe it'll magically show up tomorrow :)

I know they gotta be busy with this sale but ..I want my Riva..
had 2- 650mha and a 510 batteries die this week, I've got 2 510's left
No mailman/women is safe from search in my neighborhood till it arrives
Under these circumstances are shotguns appropiate ?

Same here Bert. Ordered a bunch of DIY flavors on Sat 23rd and I have been watching the order just sit there as Checked out but no Packed date or ship date. OK maybe I am spoiled with the level of service I get from my other Suppliers but I would have expected better with the rave reviews these guys get. That is the only reason I placed an order with them. If I place an order with anyone else I get emails within 24hrs and shipping notices within 36 (not counting Sunday or Holidays). Maybe they are short handed or have computer issues.

Well my newest update is that it was processed and left San Diego yesterday and is currently in transit to its destination. Hopefully that was all yesterday during the day and it'll be delivered today, but since I now know it at least left San Diego yesterday it should be here by tomorrow... Though that "Currently in transit to destination has my hopes up for a delivery today since my mail isn't delivered until around 4pm...

The response from Liberty Flights customer service over this slow processing and shipping issue this weekend has been phenomenal. Ty confirmed in the other thread that all other orders that were missed were taken to USPS yesterday and if you don't have a tracking number by now, then to email them for one.

Sorry to those who didn't order Riva's and got caught up in the storm. It's probably not the best time to try us if you have ordered juice etc, you were not to know and by the time we knew it was a little...busy. With out full USPS system though at least the shipping is quick once it has gone. We are working on speeding up order processing so 100+ a day should not be too hard to handle soon, the biggest problem is having to manually fill in the USPS shipping address etc for every order, something technology can help us with.

i always order through liberty flights everything i have received from them has been top notch they seem to always have plenty of items in stock and great prices also i cant speculate on their shipping because i live right down the street from their shipping location so i pick up in person but i highly recommend their products and the people there are very helpful and knowledgeable as for usps i notice that when my items are sent from the distributor i get a tracking number but it never changes the status usps is the problem with all shipping not the companies in my opinion

My status changed last night @ 2:00am to "Processed through sort facility in Albany, NY" and then again this morning @ 8:00am "All sorting has been completed at the delivery unit for today's deliveries"

Sooo my package will arrive here today, Thursday. Given I ordered on Sunday night and shipped on Monday night, even with all the shipping issues is pretty amazing.

LF has been awesome and I can't wait to complete my progress report review later on today once I get my hands on that mailman! :)

I've been ordering from LF for a while now. And I must say they are top notch for customer service and shipping and their PRICES for merch. and shipping CAN'T BE BEAT!!!! 2.99 for shipping! awesome!

They just rolled out a whole new batch of 29.99 RIVA's, so those guys are super busy! :) Thanks ABE!!!

Status changed again this morning twice to tell me arrived in my town and that it went out 30min later for delivery. It showed up at my house around 3:30pm... However I was not home all day and I'm at my apartment with no way to get it now so I have to wait for tomorrow to unpack it and do a final review of the contents and such... But nonetheless I'm still very happy it only took Monday-Wednesday to get to my town and however long today to get from my post office to my house :)

I now have my eGo! Special shout out to my moms for bringing it to me this early AM so I can stop raging at people after going a day without nicotine haha

But here goes my final review! I will edit my original post with all my posts afterwards so you guys don't have to dig through the 3-4 pages for the full review in multiple pieces.

EDIT: I guess I can't go back and edit my original post it's been too long :(

I am absolutely blown away by my packaging! I got this crazy special looking sleek black box with Liberty Flights on the top and I pulled out the tray and everything was neatly packed inside individually wrapped with a pre-assembled unit already in there! The fluids were packed and wrapped seperately in the shipping envelope all neatly labeled with color coordinated tops so I know which are 18mg and which are 24mg! That was a nice surprise!

I pulled out my eGo, blew out the atty oil, ripped open a cart, cleaned the fluid out of it after trying and not liking the pre-filled fluid, dripped my 24mg Blueberry juice into the clean filter, put it back on and I was vaping in seconds! The Blueberry is to DIE for. It tastes so yummy I wish I ordered a bigger bottle. I also opened a spare cart, cleaned it and filled it with my Coffee 24mg fluid and it's amazing as well. The fluids so far are awesome!

The batteries are even mostly charged! I popped the 2nd battery on the charger while I vaped with the first one and it was fully charged within 40minutes!

Overall, from the initial ordering to finally receiving, setting up and using my eGo, I'm floored and amazed by the customer service and quality I received. Major companies could learn a thing or two from Abe and Ty over at LF. I could not have asked for better service or a more enjoyable process, even with their crazy 400+ order weekend. They handled it with class and everyone with respect. And to top it all off and to summarize my experience; at the bottom of my packing/order slip is this handwritten message:

Thank you Abe and thank you Ty. You'll definitely get my business back, in fact I know I'll be ordering from you next week when I get paid again!

:)Received my Riva today! Like other folks oredered mine last sunday 10/24 rece'd today 10/30. E-mailed CS on tuesday and Abe replied to my e-mail very quickly, explaing the the backlog. Well worth the wait considering the sale price. Very satisfied with service and product.

On another note, I have only used atty/cart so far, woulld like to try some cartromizers, don't really understand what the difference is in cartos and ohms, etc. Could someone please recommend a good carto for the Riva?
